me too.. Have u tried sugar free Popsicle, clear soups . I am able to drink 40 -60oz of plain water and 20-30 g of protein. I'm having issues with my protein intake which I'm planning to fix this wk.Hi @@thecat I've been eating popsicle and jello so far it stays. My mom made some lemonade and I mix it with my isopure drink and I am sipping on it right now. The doctors office checked up on me today they said I should get merelax because I haven't moved my bowels yet. Even if I am only drinking liquids my bowels should be working.

I've been using Isopure unflavored protein, 1 scoop with 20 oz of water and 6-8 squirts of crystal light. I've found that anything lemonade kills the protein taste, blackberry lemonade, etc, also blueberry raspberry. Maybe this could help you. Good luck! Thank you @@krystalgenie I will try adding some crystal light on my isopure. I didn't even think about it.

Hello Group, I am 5 days post-op and much feeling better everyday. Just started my 30mins walk outside the house today. My worries is I am not able to meet my 48-64oz liquid intake each day. I am only able to meet have of the liquid requirement.Everything taste bad to me even water. Still feeling nauseous even if I am taking nausea meds.
-
Hi @@Dawn306 , they don't know what caused it. I had a feeling it was from 1 of the meds they gave me and they've given me so many of them I couldn't figure out which one. When I had my hysterectomy it happened the same thing when I took oxycodone. So I just didn't take any pain meds they prescribe, I just use ice bag.Right now trying hard on drinking liquids, I am having a hard time reaching the requirement. Just walking around the house instead outside because I am afraid to get more dehydrated in the heat. Thank you again for checking.

Good luck @@laura4923 on surgery, I will include you in my prayers. My swelling has gone down thank God. Taking it one step at a time.

Hi @@laura4923, I had to stay 1 more night at the hospital because my arms swelled up. They gave me a lot of medication I don't know what reaction it came from. I throw up just 1 time when I took the liquid dilauded. So I stop taking it, just put on ice bags and it helps with the pain.I am still nauseous but taking meds for it. Also my arms still kinda swelling still. If it don't go down till tomorrow I will call my surgeon and not wait till my follow up appointment.

I will bring my abdominal binder too on my surgery day ( Aug.20th)
-
Hi @@Tazi just joined the fb group. Is it a secret group by the way?
-
@@Dawn306 when I had my laparoscopic hysterectomy it hurts turning on my side in bed which I am a side sleeper. It hurts my belly/sutures maybe because it was stretching. The friend recommended the abdominal binder for me to use home.I do alternative first to relive pain other than taking pain meds right away.I put it over my shirt cos if I put it directly around my skin it sweat on the abdominal binder after couple hours. It helps me too when getting out of bed supporting my belly. So, maybe post sleeve might help it too. Ice pack also might help.
-
Hello guys, you think it will help to wear abdominal binder post surgery to help with the abdominal pain?

Any recommendation for online store for liquid multivitamins and Vit.D? I heard you can't take your chewables yet post-op, I don't know how long.I keep looking but no luck. All I can find is Vit.D. I might get lucky at GNC but I bet it will be super expensive. I got my Isopure protein drink at luckyvitamin.com so far they have the list expensive price online I found. You can d/l the app Retailmenot on ur phone for coupons which they offer often.
