  1. Knitchic, I had the same experience but I had to pack and repack it myself. I agree with you, it was painful and my surgeon was very apologetic. I didn't think that I would be able to repack it myself each day but I got over being freaked out by it and it has healed nicely.

  4. I'm 58 years old and had my RNY on 9/1. It is very nice to find others in my age group on here sharing their experiences. At this point one of my biggest challenges is getting enough fluids in. I am looking forward to being able to have some puréed foods very soon.
  5. Wow, congrats to both of you. I am currently at 259, hope to be at 250 by surgery time. It must feel so exciting to be only 30 ish pounds away. Thanks for you responses.
  6. I am 58 years old and will soon have my surgery. I see some very impressive weight loss statistics from people that are 8 or so weeks out. What kind of results are those in my age group seeing?
