Surgery is coming up in a few days, and all this time I was cool and collected. To WACK!???? full emotional roller coaster . So nervous I'm not sleeping, and starting to think what am I doing? To I'm out of my bloody mind if I turn back, I've worked too hard. To calm, I don't like feeling out of control. ???? please tell me I'm not alone in this? Tried talking to family, but looked at me like I had a second head.

Started my liquid diet a couple of days ago, it's harder than I thought. But We CAN DO THIS, because the finish line is close at hand and I wanna walk this one like a champ.????????

My heart doctor told me I had an extra heart beat and was still cleared. He said I didn't have anything to worry about because my heart was strong and seemed normal. He asked me to see him in year after surgery.

Great we can always lean on each other for support... ????????????

Thank you all , its amazing that there is people out here in the world walking the same journey as me and as I continue walk I will know that I'm not alone. Every time I hear about a success story I will know I'm one step closer of my own story to tell.????????

Tomorrow I start my liquid diet, its not required by my doctor. But I thought it would be good for me. I'm 35, starting weight was about 450 and now I'm 398. I decided to go with the sleeve my family are both happy supportive and doubtful but respectful about the choices I'm making. I'm super excited about the surgery, but nervous at the same time. I'm still waiting on paperwork and pre op appointment, other than January 6th 2016 let get ready to rumble for the new year.????????????????????????

After all the waiting and stressing, I finally have a date January 6th. Now all I have is my pre-op appt with blood work and paperwork. My doctor said if I wanted to do liquid diet was up to me... thoughts? Nervous but happy because I'm another step closer to a new me.????????..........????

I began my journey late April 2015. Completed requirements and I have been waiting on approval from insurance since early October. Total weight loss 60lbs. I've called my insurance and they said doctor has not submitted paperwork. I repeatedly left messages to see what is going on? With the holidays and stress I've gained 10lbs. So than out of the blue I get a call from the doctor stating that they were booked til Jan. And didn't want to submit my paperwork to early other wise I'd have to start over. I told her that is all fine and dandy but it would have been nice if you'd call me to let me know what was going on, I thought you forgotten me. She laughed me off and said no. And said that she hasn't received my doctor referral? Hello lady when I left your office two months ago you guys said you had everything. ????

I had to have a 6mos monitored as well and was required a 1lbs loss each month. With swimming 4-5 times a day and calorie counting I lost 62 lbs. Now I'm waiting for approval and I'm so nervous I'll be turned down. :-(

I've always thought myself a patient person but I think I'm stressing myself out, and than I want to eat and eat and eat. So I do, but than I feel guilty and swim for an 1,2 or 3hrs to kill some of those calories. But I've gained 5lbs. All I keep thinking is what if's? Wait time is three weeks 1 and a half down and 1 and a half to go... tick tock tick tock. Just sharing... Ps doubt is B....
