Hi, Two weeks post and 15 pounds lighter. Yippee for me. I sure do plan to go to Dr. A for fills. I'm hoping I'll only need one or two since I have the medium sized band and it only holds 5cc. I'm not so sure I would trust anyone else, at least for the first fill. How about you? Will you be going down for fills? I'm thinking I won't have to go until the end of April or the first part of May. My soups this week were so yummy. Tomorrow I'm making split pea with very tiny pieces of ham left over from dinner tonight that the husband and child get to eat. Keep in touch. Karen

Hey, balloon girl! Is that you Rhonda? How are you doing? We sure missed you when you and Marty left. Wish I could've said good-bye. I was sleeping. Hailey told me you left early. I loved my balloon! I've spoken with Michelle and she says you're doing well. Glad to hear it. I found some cream soup recipes online for next week. I'm dying to have something other than clear liquids. I'm starting with a creme of broccoli cheese soup. I tried to send you and the others some pictures, but it keeps coming back MAILER DEMON. Don't know what's going on with that. BTW, it's me, Karen.

You must be referring to Sergio. Isn't he wonderful? I'm surprised we didn't meet. Dr. A banded me on Saturday, the 8th. There were 5 of us scheduled that day and 4 of us ended up on the third floor. Quite impressive up there. The two corner rooms had 42 inch flat panel plasma TV's. I'm so tired of clear liquids. How's it going for you? I have lost 11 pounds already. Quite excited about that.

I'm one week post op (lost 11 pounds already) and I would highly recommend a heating pad for your left shoulder. It will be very sore for almost a week from the surgery and the heating pad helped a lot. The hospital had one for me and I was glad I have one at home. As far as food, every doctor is different.

I just got home hours ago. I slept a lot, wore the hospital gowns, needed my slippers and chapstick. Never used my own pj's, robe or 2 extra outfits I brought. Nor did I read the book I brought, I watched TV, thumbeda magazine, slept or walked around visiting the other lapband patients I bonded (and banded) with. Good luck. Oh,one more thing, I was given Gax X, the kind that dissolves on your tongue. I don't know why cuz i'm not sure it helped.

Calling all AZ Monthly Lunchoen(ers)

I'm glad I was able to go too. Everyone was a delight and so friendly. I feel like I have a whole new group of friends. I can't wait to set my date and be an official "bandster". Thanks to Bubble B for getting us all together. BTW, we should think about the east valley next month so our neighbors down south could join us. Karen -
I am looking at Dr. Rodriguez as my lap doctor. He is now at the Hospital Angeles in Juarez Mexico. Anyone been there for surgery yet? Looking for testimonials. Thanks
