So I have lost about 40lbs total and today in front of like six people someone said, you have lost a lot of weight, and they stood there looking at me. I wanted to run and hide. Took me by surprise and I didn't know what to say. I was embarrassed for the first time for losing weight and not for being fat. I guess I need to learn how to take a compliment in a group setting.

At my last appointment the RN said to really buckle down t and lose weight the first six months. After six weight loss slows dramatically. Amanda your at 146 already? Dam girl you hit the ground running. Will you gain some back during your vacation?????

I don't have a fatty liver I asked my surgeon. Some people have it even when they are thin.

I have been taking Mirolax in the mornings and it has helped keeping me regular. Any of you have issues with being regular with your BM. My RN said if if I'm not going every three days I should take Mirolax.

The way my NUT described soft food and the sleeve is like this. Soft food in the stomach is like a tube of tooth paste. It can be squeezed out the stomach easily in a short period of time. Meat takes longer to digest and satisfies for a much longer period of time. The reason I got corrected at my four week checkup is because I was increasing my soft food trying to stay satisfied longer. I needed to ad meat and fibrous veggies. I think I'm good now. So yes lean meat helps a bunch in our weight loss. Calorie count on turkey is very low.
