I was banded Oct. 2007 in Buffalo,NY by Dr.Forbes. I am looking to chat with people from this area that were banded or are going to be banded. My name is Lisa. Look forward to hearing from everyone.

I was having the same problem. And I went on for a month like that. I finally went to my doctor last week and they did an upeer GI and my band was too tight. They took out half of what they put in last month and I had instant relief. I had to do liquids then to pureed, then soft because everything was all swollen . You should call your doctor. Good luck!!!

I too had my band done Oct. 2007 and I have been having reflux so bad!! I am on prevacid already and I have to go tomorrow for an upper gi and most likely get an unfill. But I just got a tiny fill last month because I was gaining. Since the fill last month I started losing again. This is so frustrating!!!! I am ready to ask for this band to removed.

I went to Dr.Posner and Dr. Forbes at Buffalo General. Dr. Forbes did my lap band. She is awesome!!! They have taken such great care of me there.

I was on 30 units of insulin at night and metforim twice a day before being banded. I was banded Oct 22 and since then I have been off all insulin and pills for type 2 diabetes. My last ac1 level was 6.0 I have never felt better!!!!

I was banded Oct. 22, 2007. I got a call toady and I have a hernia next to my belly button from scar tissue there. I have a history of abdominal adhesions. SO, I will need anopther surgery!!! Lisa

I went for a fill yesterday and did not get one because of pain near my port. The doctor sent me for a ct scan. They said it was not right to have so much pain. I am waiting for the test results this morning. Do you have any pain?
