    Had Gastric Bypass

On 22 days of liquid only...6 more days until my appointment to see if I go to mushy foods. Other than that, not too bad. It's a life changer so make sure you're life has changed before going into surgery. I cut sugar, carbs, and a lot of fried foods 3 months before surgery so that i wasn't in crave mode after Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App Definitely need to have a focused mind to remain dedicated. I have cravings from time to time, but my main problem is quantity. Even if it's salad, the quantity I can eat is fit for a king. It was always difficult to curb my hunger, so I'm relying on this surgery to slow things down hah!

Congrats man! Having surgery mid-late June myself. Have you been adjusting pretty well?
  3. I'm also in the RVA area and on my last requirement to meet criteria. Good luck! It seems that everytime I goto my PCP for the supervised diet, they're clueless on what I need them to do.

    Psych eval

Good luck @@citygirl1962 the first part wasn't bad at all. The only trouble I went through was the fact that I wasn't aware I had to get pre-authorized by my insurance. Noone ever told me. Regardless, the written test awaits!

Thank you! Unfortunately, I believe mine is going to be slightly more difficult as it is two scheduled appointments =(

    Psych eval

Thanks Holly! Hopefully I'll go through this with ease. I've never done any type of mental evaluation in my life.
  7. Hey guys, I'm newish to the forums and am near scheduling a surgery date. However, I am curious how everyone's Psychological evaluation went? My first appointment is today and am quite nervous but not overly panicked. Thanks!
