Hi Everyone Sorry I haven't been around I hope all is well with all. I went in for a fill today it was done by Missy in x-ray she is getting very good at doing them she put 5cc in I have lost 50lbs altogather banded 1/7/08. Missy asked me to ask all Columbus banders to come to her suport group in June the frist Mon.. Hope to see you there. ladyroz

HI All I was told that Mellisa would do my fills and on 2/26 Mellisa did my fill she did a good job got it on the frist try but she only put 2.5cc in my 14cc band I didn't think it was enough until I ate some rice and it got stuck she came to see me in the hospital she said that I had enough cc in my band. Dr. choban told me to get my next fill in april they told me there was no appts. for april so I have to wait until May 8 which is 9 weeks I don't think that is fair it is so hard to control your eating with the band so loose. I have to fight not to eat and I still have 4 weeks to go. So I'm praying each day not to gain weight. Hi All It is so great to see all is doing well. I'm looking forward to 4/7 so I can meet everyone I miss the monthly meetings I go to church on Sat. so this meeting is going to be great for me I cann't wait. so please fine out the time. After the rice problem it whould be good to go to the hospital for some fun. Hello all As I read your letters I know I must have seen you guys at Mt. West I had my banding on 1/7/08 I had a scare on tues. morning on mon. I ate some white rice that got stuck I have never been in so much pain in my life at about 1:30 in the morning the rice would not move it could not come up or go down I started to throw up but only water came up. I had to call the doctor on call for dr Choban who told me to come in right away because he thougt my band had slipped I was so scare. Thank God it was the rice I had to stay overnite. I saw Dr. Choban weds she let me go home after lunch. So please stay away from RICE. Michelle leaving is a great lost to the program I will miss her. She was great with me before I left the hospital. I hope all is well with the new ones who where banded this week. I wish I could come to the get togather next month than I would know each other when meet. Hi all Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I see there have been some ups and downs but God sits high and looks low and he sees all. I'm doing fine waiting for my first fill on 2/26 so I can stop eating to much. I haven't gain any thing that is good but I haven't lost any lol glory be to God. God is working in my life and when I feel He is not there I remember what He said "I will not forsake you or leave you alone" Thank you God for loving me when I didn't love myself. Hi all I was banded on Jan. 7 in Columbus OH this is the best thing I have ever done for myself the band is great I wise I have done it sooner. It is nice to read your letters it helps me to know there is other people out there just like me. Best wishes for all. Ladyroz

Hi all Hello to the new comers. It is so nice to hear how God is working in your lives. I have been doing great I think God each day for the band I have lost 30lbs since my banding 1/7/08 i wil have my first fill on 2/26. It is so good seeing the pic they are great you ladies look so good. I can't wait until I lose weight like you ladies have. After looking at your pic. I know I can do it too. HI ladies So good to know that God has been so good in your lives. I'm happy to know that your banding dates are getting closer glory be to God and your road to good health is on the way. I'm waiting for my frist fill on 2/26 with dr choban I'm a little scared however I starting to eat more and that is more scarey than the fill. I have lost 30lbs since I was banded on 1/07/08 I hope I don't stop losing. But I'm starting to hold more food than before I'm trying not to eat but it is starting to get hard not to. I don't know what to do I don't what to gain weigh. can some one tell me what they did at this stage HELP LADYROZ

Hello Ladies I'm happy to hear that Nikk got her date. I did the same thing I was to be banded in Oct. 07 I went on my cruise frist we had a ball good luck to you Murch is not that far away. I need to know what do you eat on the baby food stage LOL all I eat is soup and protein drinks I'm lost at what to eat. I can only eat about 4oz at a time can someone give me some ideas. ladyroz

Hi all It is so good to hear children of the most high speaking of is goodness. I belive God has a plan for all of us and as we take this walk to good health the devil will put alot of things in our paths to take our mines off of God and put it on our problems. my surgery was done on 1/7/08 mine was done by dc choban also she is great I have no problems with my band I wish I had let her do it sooner my pain is almost gone I have lost 27lbs so far.

Hi All The gas after the surgery hurt the most I took some gas-x and I started to past the gas. I too had the pain in my chest I drink hot tea and it moved it. I don't know if this has happen to any one but I stretched one morning and a very sharp pain in my lower abdomen that hurt for 7 days when I walk the doctor said I must have pulled a muscle, it has stopped hurting now. So be very careful how you move around after surgery. Banded 1/7/08 lost 27lbs so far:rolleyes2:

I was banded on the 7th also it has been very good I lost 23lbs the pain is almost gone, I worry if I'm getting all the water I need, I also got depressed because I was worried if I could finish this race to good health. Besides that I'm doing great.

My banding is on Jan 7 in Ohio starting to feel happy the fear is easying up a little. Looking forward to a new live ladyroz:clap2:

Hi everyone My surgery went very well I lost 10lbs before the surgery on the 7th by the 11th I had lost 4lbs I have lost another 8lbs thats 23lbs in 15 days I can't belive I waited so long to be banded it is great I'm very happy with my new life. Thanks for you prays ladyroz

I thank God for the band I was banded Jan 7 08 I have losted 23lbs my knees stop hurting so now I can kneel to pray, my back has no pain and it has been only 10 days no sickness at all, my soul is fulled with joy. If I'm faithful in using this tool He has blessed me with my body and mind will be His to use. God has great work for us to do for Him. I belive the banding will make us strong so we can do His will. Try to stay carm things will work out it took a year to before I got a date don't give up!!! you can always write to us on the forum we are here for you.
