I've struggled with weight from very early childhood, I slimmed down when I was around 9 but was overweight again  by 11. I struggled with my weight all through high school, when I left school I worked in a salon for around a year and everyone I worked with was slim! I felt very self conscious and started crash dieting but once I left the salon I ballooned to a size 20 from a size 16 within a matter of months - I decided to go on a liquid VLCD for three months and slimmed down to a healthy size - its the only time in my life where I didn't feel self conscious and it was great but didn't last long - I started to binge eat thinking I didn't have to worry about my weight again because I can lose weight quickly on the liquid diet - but they're hard to stick to after a while and from then - (5 years ago now) I've  weight on every year and am now a size 26. The sleeve was my only option of losing weight I know I will never have enough willpower to stick to a diet long enough to lose weight.
 
I'm happy with my decision to have the sleeve - I actually wish I'd had it done years ago so I could have spent the last few years enjoying my life and not hiding away feeling ashamed.
