I'm five weeks out and have been doing pretty well. They have told me no caffeine, but I love my cup of tea in the morning. I've never drank coffee but really want to have a cup of tea. I've sustained from it until now - the pressure is driving me nuts! Do any of you drink any caffeine and what's the reason for not drinking it... I'm guessing dehydration. Is maybe just a cup of tea okay?

I'm five weeks out and also did this mostly alone.... it was so strange to drive myself to the hospital that morning! But also I felt some empowerment that I was doing this for me and no one else. You will be okay, stay strong and you'll come out the other side even stronger. And those first few days all I wanted to do was sleep and really didn't want anyone fussing over me, so enjoy the sleep and take care of yourself. There is ALWAYS support here, reach out and we'll encourage you. -

I feel your pain also. I'm 4 weeks down.... and have been in a 2 week stall. Its so frustrating, I feel like I'm doing everything right but have not lost a single pound. I dropped almost 30 pounds in the two weeks, which I'm super grateful for and got off my bp meds... yahoo! But yes I'm feeling super frustrated right now! Keep on keeping on!!! Best of luck to you both!!! -

wow... im loving these forums. I've found so much help. I am 25 days out and have had the same issue with weak and no energy. I've been to the ER twice in the last week. First it was my potassium, second time dehydration. Its a roller coaster and frustrating because I feel I'm really trying to do everything correct. Just keep trying to get that Protein in and if you feel weaker you must seek medical help. Good Luck!
