    See we found one! Some stuck up b***h who wants to tell everyone how she followed the rules and she's at goal. The point of my post was to tell people like you that "goal shaming" isn't necessary. Wow a term you haven't heard of, it must not be a term then. Nobody said you shouldn't be proud of your weightloss, hell im proud of your weight loss but you saying you will not apologize for following the rules has nothing to do with you trying to tell others their rules. This is a site for information and support, if you have a negative outlook on those who are just beginning in their journey or you feel like you are superior because you're on the other side now, then you have no business being here. Enjoy your day, fortunately I don't let little leeches like you destroy mine, but others might so you should watch what you say and how you say it.

    I think it's sickening that people are like that here, I hate that people can't even come ask questions about potential "cheats" without mighty high horse galloping along to belittle them. I want this site to be uplifting and understanding especially in our times of need/support. We are all human, we all make mistakes and we all are going to continue to make mistakes it's life! I'm glad others feel the same way as I do on here!

    Sky- I can do number 1 fine, never had a problem, still don't. As for number 2, I went for the first time 4 days post op and now I go pretty much every 2-3 days. I was very consistent pre op with every day and slowly my body is getting back into the groove of things. My best advice is eat your yogurt and drink plenty of water.

    Hey guys!!! So I've been debating on this post for weeks now and I'm finally just going to do it. I've seen a lot of "attackers" on this site and have become extremely sick of reading their comments. I started out at 398 on June 1. On June 24th I had VSG surgery and was 370. Today (July 17) I am down to 353. I have followed the eating plan to a T and have been walking 2-3 miles a day since 3 days post op. No complications at all, one dumping incidident and I hate cottage cheese now but used to love it. Anyways my point of this post is to express my frustration with those who say "you need to follow this diet to a T for the rest of your life. Don't cheat, don't eat more than you should, keep your sugar low or non existent and make sure your carbs and sodium remain small. I didn't put my body through surgery to be on a DIET for the rest of my life. I will obviously continue to eat protein first and then veggies and then fruit for the majority of my week but if I want to eat something a little less healthy when I'm cleared for all foods, I will do as I please. I'm sick of others sitting there telling others who feel the same that they are ruining their chance at success, that they followed the rules and still do and they reached goal blah blah blah. Stop goal shaming others, you were once a fat mess like the rest of us so it doesnt make you any better. I really love coming here to get advice and support but I'm about ready to quit this site and never look back do to some of these snarky high horse commenters.
  6. HEY EVERYONE! I started my journey June 1 and was on liquid diet until day of surgery which was June 24. I lost 28 pounds during that time and since surgery I have lost 13 pounds (I'm 11 days post op). The first couple of days the water I retained from IV fluids flew off and I lost about 6 additional pounds in 2 days. After that I had a 3 pound loss then a 2 pound loss and continued until I was losing about a pound. Yesterday I was switched to mushy food and I had my regular protein shake, water, a bite or two of plain avocado. A tiny piece of mozzarella cheese, water, Gatorade, water an oz of yogurt, water, and another piece of cheese. And then water and my vitamins in the evening. I weighed myself this morning and I didn't lose anything, I actually gained 3 oz. Did I eat too much yesterday? What is going on?!?

    Hey everyone! My journey started a little over a month ago when I decided I wasn't wanting to slowly kill myself anymore. I went in for a consultation in Miami Fl on the last Thursday in May and was scheduled for surgery June 24. I was on a liquid diet the entire time and lost 28 pounds. My highest weight was 398 and the morning of surgery I weighed 370. My surgery went very smooth, my pain was controlled well and my only complication was the dry heaving from the anesthesia for a little over 7 hours. None of my incisions hurt anymore, I do however have severe pain above my belly button where they had to stich something down. I've been drinking propel and watered down G2 to keep hydrated and I can't wait to get to the puréed foods so I can have cottage cheese. I don't know why but I've been craving it like crazy. I attend college in Illinois and am hoping I'm healed enough to appear normal seeing as I haven't told anyone and I don't plan on telling anyone that I had the surgery. How much could I expect to lose by Christmas?
