According to my NUT this only applies to bypass. For me, I can drink right up until the time I eat. I try to eat pretty slowly anyway so even if I take a sip or two while eating it doesn't interfere with my being able to have room for my food.< /p>
This also applies to gastric sleeve...not sure why your NUT told you that...im two months post op and I can't drink at eat at the same time without having issues

You just had the surgery few days ago, you have to be patient, that's the recovery process.

My breath is the worst. I can't stand myself and my husband keeps saying "what smells like sh*t?" Lol!
How supportive of him!????
The breath thing I never knew was from Ketosis!!! I was worried BC I was sleeved June 10 and I wake up like damn... This taste is nasty!! Did anyone have irritation in the back or their throat with that?
No irritation here ????

They say to drink more Water to dilute the concentration of ketones...because ya know, you're not drinking nearly enough water already (yeah right????). You can also chew on some parsley...awesome right?! LOL
I think it's safe to say that we ALL have ketosis breath. If it's not one thing it's another...I guess I'd rather have dragon breath than my current large self. I'm sure if you hang with other VSG survivors they won't even notice????. Good luck!
LOL! Dragon breath is an understatement ????...I'm gonna try the parsley and see if it works! ????

Thanks! That makes sense!

Not rude just realistic. That's one of the major points that is explained during this surgery process, it's hard to believe that you don't know this.
