    Food Fails!

catwoman7 Good luck tomorrow. I hope you find some answers. I'm thinking I should slow down and not push so soon.
  3. Here in Minnesota the sweet corn is just starting to show up. I am really going to miss it this year :-(

Big box of samples. Now what?

I liked the fruit nectars in water. Some of the others I mixed with unsweetened almond milk.
  5. I had RNY June 10. I made the cheese bake this week. It was very good. I also have refried beans with a little cheese, cauliflower, applesauce, greenbeans, and yogurt and pudding. The next thing I'm going to try is roast beef hash. I've been trying to add something new every few days to see how it goes. Still can't do eggs though.

Flintstones is also what my NUT recommends but not gummies. She said they don't have iron.

    June bypass buddies

I started pureed on Monday. Some days are hard to get all fluid in. I try 3 protein shakes (1 with almond milk and 2 with water). I ordered the sample pack from Syntrax. 15 samples of Nectar for $15. I also try to drink 8 oz of V8 and a 12oz bottle of Powerade Zero or Vitamin Water Zero. Thats 5 of my 8 servings of fluids. So that leaves 3 more for water. For food I usually try cereal in morning. My favorite is graham cracker and milk. Also tried oatmeal which was ok. I try to get either fruit or veg at lunch and a protein for supper. Each of these is usually 3 oz. Then in the evening I have yogurt, pudding, or a sugar free fudgecicle. Thats about all I can manage so far. I did buy ingredients for the cheese bake to try and also roast beef hash. Went back to work today and I was really tired after only a 4 hour shift.
