@@Trahan Caro what vitamins are you taking. I have been doing quite a bit of research online about the better ones to take and the consensus is all over the board especially since everyone body is different. Did you suffer from any hair loss? I am worried about that. I have thick blonde hair full of natural body and dont want to loose it. -
@@Designer Edit that sounds like a really quick turn around. I am there for a total of 6 days. One day prior, surgery date 2 days at the hospital and 2 days at the hotel. IT would defiantly suck to have gas pains on a flight. Now im not looking forward to that. Hopefully I can get it all out the 4 days before. 11 days that's so exciting !!! I leave in 68. I read that freezing broth in ice cube trays in 1-2 oz volumes makes it easier to prepare especially if you have a helper with you at home. Pop one out, put it in a mug and pop in the microwave for 1 minute. voila... lunch !!

I am going to Tijuana Bariatric's. I am taking 3 weeks off of work to ensure a fuller recovery than just 2 weeks. A friend of mine was good to go back to work after 9 days. I am quite nervous about the nausea and 2 oz eating. I HATE Jello and broth just doens't appeal to me so I am not sure how I am going to do with the first couple weeks. 68 days until I fly out. IT cant come soon enough !!

I have had IBS for several years now, and that is one of the things my stomach does too, especially right after I have eaten a really fatty meal. Pizza anyone?

MissRobin replied to a topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Good Morning Fellow Canadians !! I am so very glad this thread was started. I am from Edmonton. My surgery is booked for September 10th. Flying into San Diego on the 9th and back home on the 14th. I am then taking the rest of the month off for a full recovery. I have applied for short term disability through my insurance company so I can at least get paid while I am off for 3 weeks. I look forward to chatting with everyone soon ! Robin. My BMI is 34.1 on a bad day. I know its not SUPER SUPER high, but its way too high for me. I suffer from bulemia nervousa and I feel that this is going to be the remedy to kick it. My doctor is super supportive of my decision as he knows how hard I have tried to change my lifestyle and battle with weight gain and loss. I see my dietitian (NOT a nutritionist) next month. I am very excited to get some extra information and a pre-op diet ready for August. As well as a diet plan for post op. I have been doing alot of research on post bariatric Vitamins and not sure with brands, online vs. a health food store. So much information out there. -
