My experience with dumping came after I are a little spicy soup..I was SO tired of pudding and jello ..it took about 15 minutes with stomach cramps and I ran to the bathroom. More if a water discharge(TMI) but I wanted to explain it was different than anything I had ever experienced.

My surgeon face my needs rx a week before surgery..I an allergic to Lortab and thank goodness they saw the hives in the hospital..(despite me saying I was allergic to it) I ended up being given dilaudid and publix pharmacy was the only one who carried it!

Hi, I'm sure you have had surgery by now, but I'm in Pensacola and had my surgery by Dr Lord and his team 10 days ago..it's crazy to get scheduled with him but I'm so far beyong happy with him as my surgeon.

I was told to do clears and a Protein shake 2 daily..they told me it was because when we eat, our liver is bigger and it needs to be moved during surgery..no food=smaller liver. ..I'm not a doctor, so I would ask your physician team but I am told that's the main reason of the liquid diet before surgery. Hi all, I have posted before but cannot find any of my posts from before my surgery. I had other surgery performed at the same time and the fix was gastric bypass. I had strictures, an esophageal problem and a hernia. I needed help to lose weight but I was not considered acceptable for weight loss surgery based on weight.(205weight,5'6) My issue--first week, great..no nausea or vomiting and could handle every thing...I have tried to progress to an egg, Soup, beans--all pureed but I can't hold anything down this week. Frustrated as I'm hungry!! Any suggestions.2 ounces is my portion size right now and I measure it so It's not from too much. Thanks y'all!! Also I would like too join the Facebook group above(might be in it) but I have been sick with everything else I have not spent much time online. Nice to meet everyone..I'm in Pensacola, FL.

I am new to this group and bariatric surgery..Trying to learn all I can (what to expect!) I am a 31BMI, not considered heavy enough for surgery but I have a pyloric stenosis that has to be dialated ever 3-4 weeks and surgery is my only cure. I had kidney cancer in 8/2012 and have been gaining ever since. I have always been a skinny gal but now I'm a 16sz and miserable due to my health and weight. My doctor us doing the RNY to fix both my blockages and help my health from progressing worse...I'm 48-live in Pensacola, FL..can't wait to meet everyone..thanks for accepting me into the groups!

My date ie 7/14. I am a overweight(31bmi-not enough to qualify) but I have a pyloric stenosis so they are going to do combined surgery which will help in the future with my health problems. I feel bad due to always being extra skinny before cancer in 2012. I am looking forward to getting healthy!! :-)

My surgery is coming up 7/14--surgeon said I need liquid or chewable vitamins...nothing in capsule. I have a weak gag reflex. All suggestions for supplements and protein powders are apprecuated!!
