I am waiting to hear back from my insurance with approval right now. I have been assured that I would be approved. So much that I am.actually scheduled for surgery on the 30th and I'm on day 2 of my diet. Does anyone else have Humana and has anyone had problems with this insurance? Age 40 Hgt: 5'2 Weight ;244 BMI; 44.9 Goal is 129 lo

I'm still in a lot of discomfort. I am not getting all my liquids and fluids in like I need to. It's so hard. I wake up every morning with a damn headache. I think it's the pain meds making me sick though. I am glad to hear from ya'll though cause I need to hear ya'lls stories and experiences to keep me going.

I'm gonna try that then. Because I am moving ALOT of gas but nothing with it

I haven't had a BM for a while but I haven't had any solids so how can I have a bm??

@@Ktprimo surprisingly I am feeling better too. Just suddenly everything is kicked in. I have almost 2 shakes down and a whole bottle of water.

I just had mine on the 30th too and experiencing the exact same things you are. Are your headaches better if you sleep in an upright position? I'm going to try that tonight. Yes I also have all the rumbling and sharp little pangs when I am sipping anything.

So tomorrow is my surgery. I am super excited about. I have been on my 14day pre-op diet. I did slip twice. And last night I celebrated by have two bloody Marys. No liquor thye were virgin. Am I ruined for surgery now??? I really want this to happen and I am so blessed for this opportunity! Please don't judge me. I am not a regular drinker but.last night was special.

Well I was on day 5 of my pre-op diet and I fell...I fell hard. I'm scared and mad at the same time. I know I am supposed to be on a liquid diet but DAMN!!! It's so hard. I had 3 french fries and several pieces of steak. I am a failure but I was so hungry.Please give me some tips on how not to fail the next 10 days. I really want to succeed!!! I am so embarrassed.

My surgery is on Monday and honestly I'm getting cold feet idk if I'm ready to have a part of me removed forever feels good to know someone else is out there like me.

I was wondering if there are foods I will NEVER eat again. For example I like mac and cheese and potato salad. I also love regular salad. Can someone let me know?? Even A small portion.

@@jas84047 cheer up!! This is the greatest place to let it out. Everyone on here let me know I didn't fail and that I was human. The same goes for you!! We all fall. The pint is to remember we are here to pick you up when you fall. So chin up! We will get through this together... 9 days till surgery for me!

Thanks everyone. I really think this is the greatest support I have found so far. I am back in the saddle and ready to fight this demon. Also I will tell my counselor tomorrow. My NUT assured me that it's not as big of a deal as I am making it out to be. To many of your points it was steak not a sundae or cake! Hahaha. Surgery is still scheudled for the 30th. This is a great support system. Thanks again.

No you are not doing anything wrong. I'm on day 5 liquid diet and I don't have any headaches either. I am tired but I also have 3 kids i chase around. You are doing fine! thanks rose. Today is day 4 and I did have a small headache earlier and now I am hungry. Only slightly though. Thanks for the encouragemnet

Thank you all for responding cuz I really don't know what to expect after my surgery. I'm scheduled to be sleeves on June 30th and I've just always been told that I wouldn't be hungry but I'm in my pre op diet right now of liquid and I'm not hungry but I'm bored hungry. Does that make sense? Like I wanna eat but only cause I'm bored. I hate that feeling !! I was literally crying on my last day of food because I knew I was eating out of boredom. It made me really sad.

So I've gone through everything necessary for me to get surgery I called Friday to ask if I start my liquid diet before the surgery that I have scheduled on June 30th and they said yes the insurance company called me today about a prescription for after my surgery to verify my plan and they're sending my medication the only thing I haven't had yet is my advocate call me and tell me that everything was good and I was cleared for surgery. I've been doing everything they wanted me to since March and now my surgery date is scheduled for June 30th and I haven't heard from my advocate but everyone else including my surgeon has told me to go ahead and start my liquid diet. My BMI is 44 and I'm sure my insurance will approve me but I'm starting to get nervous because I haven't heard from my advocate but I have heard from everyone else. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?
