:rip: Let's all have a moment of silence for Ace is gone..........:faint: Thank you America!!!! :high5:  :spider: For those of you that are Ace fans, I apologize but he started to become a little nauseating to me. If I had to see him run his fingers through his hair or do his little boyish smile again I would have screamed!!!! He is talented but he started to be a little annoying. Yeah, yeah....he is good looking but not as talented as a few others (Chris, Katharine) . And I have a feeling that next week is going to be great!!! Can't wait!

That sounds like a perfect description to me! I hate that feeling of a golf ball in your chest! That is the worst pain! You feel helpless, anxious to get rid of it, nervous that you will hurt your band...all kinds of feelings come around when that pain hits me. But I just relax and breathe. Some people tell me to drink something and I am like.... OH NO! That is the worst! I just grin and bear it and let it ease on out! And remember what it was that I did that caused it and try not to do it again!

Bucky - Ok Ace - OH NO! Kelly - mmmm, alright Chris - rocked but like Randy said...could have had his moment tonight Katharine - good job Elliott - Great Taylor - Had fun but could have been better Paris - too much for her I think the bottom three might be Ace, Paris and Bucky. We'll see.

Hey there Ms. Vicki! I used Dr. Spivak and they always tell me to go on liquids for about 48 hours after a fill and to give the restriction a couple of days to appear. Right now I have 1.7cc but I was up to 2.0cc and I couldn't even get scrambled eggs down! That little bit helped alot. The only thing that I can't get down now is beef, chicken maybe. I have turned into a soupaholic! And definitely NO bread for me...absolutely not!!! That hurts! Good Luck!

Ok everyone..I need your advice. I am going on a camping trip on April 7, 8, 9. Any suggestions on what to eat? I thought about taking some applesauce cups and those jello/pudding cups that you don't have to refridgerate and maybe some Special K/South Beach cereal bars and of course...water. This is going to be a big weekend with alot of people there and I know some are bringing RV's so I can heat up my soup and make grits/oatmeal. I know that probably sounds good enough but any suggestions for something different? maybe a healthy granola mix? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...it is an anniversary edition 2003 Ultra Classic...it belonged to his dad...he passed away in 11-2004...he also has a black 2003 Road King. That picture was taken at our clubhouse in Alvin, Texas which is southwest of downtown Houston. Isn't the grass great!!! I could not believe that! It came out so good. The pictures were only $5 each and they were full 8 x 10's too. What a deal!

Thanks girl.....I think EVERYONE should take a picture on a motorcycle at least once in their life! They are the coolest and most badass pictures!
-
Hey Delarla! Here those pictures. These were taken on Saturday. It was a gorgeous day for riding...little windy but gorgeous!
-
Ok, ok!!!! I will try to sneak over to the house and post them this afternoon!!! They are really good and he looks so hot!
-
Great pictures girl!! You look awesome on that bike! My husband and I actually took pictures on his bike saturday so I will have to get those up when I get home tonight. I think taking pictures on motorcycles are so hot no matter if it is in biker attire or those skimpy little bikinis! Just something about bikers that is just so hot and sexy!!! VROOM VROOM!!!!!

Yes....You are normal. It happens to me ALL the time. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever and I have had it bad for candy lately, especially chocolate! But don't beat yourself up about it. I know that when I hit under 200 lbs the last thing I wanted was to be there again. But I bounced back and forth between 197 and 200 for a bit and it finally got further away from the 200 mark. Just be careful of what you eat and don't feel bad about the Jack in the Box either...I do the same thing...both sausage patties and egg minus the hash brown and bun!! And I do it often. You can't deprive yourself of some stuff...you are only human. You had an off day and you have to get back on your feet and think next time that piece of cake is there and have a piece big enough for maybe 2 bites....the soup....geez! I live off of soup! That is my main food that I have almost everyday. Never feel guilty when you eat soup...especially veggie! At least it wasn't fattening like chowder! What you had to eat yesterday really wasn't all that bad...I have seen worse and probably done worse. But the fact of the matter is, is that you realize what you did, you are kicking yourself for doing it and you know that you probably won't do it again because of the guilt you feel from it. Today is a new day and tomorrow is even better! Just start fresh and you will be fine. But if it keeps on happening and you are still eating like that you might consider getting a fill, even if it is a small one just to take the edge off.

Well, I am going drinking tonight as a matter of fact!! :kiss But like everyone else has said....there are lots of empty calories and you have to be careful of how much you drink. I have found that Martinis and Bloody Mary's are what I drink the best. I don't drink anything with fruit juice or soda. Actually....it might sound stupid but I sometimes feel a little better knowing that I am getting my veggies with a Bloody Mary even if it is laced with Vodka!!! :heh: Is that bad??? :paranoid Anywho! That is my take on drinking with the band. I also don't feel bad about doing it because that is the only day of the week that I drink, TGIF!! :clap2:  :whoo:  Plus, the bar that I go to has free, fresh popcorn so I don't have an empty stomach all night!!! And then that is really the only time I eat popcorn too! So...everyone is different....but I see no harm. Take care!

I have no problem with the thought of eating pizza....it's the crust that I have a problem with. So, it gets trashed and never comes close to my mouth at all!!! That is how I eat pizza...crustless!!!

I am very happy with my decision to get the band...The only negative that I see is the money I have to spend buying new clothes, new shoes and even jewlery!! Actually as I am typing this post, my UPS driver just dropped off new clothes for me!!! :biggrin1: How funny is that!? Anyways.....everyone is different and as long as you take care of your band and listen to your doctor...eat right, chew right, exercise and have a positive outlook everything works out. And if something happens, then it happens, you work through it with support from your family, doctor, friends and most of all....your spirit. I have found that I am much happier now than before...I look in the mirror and love it....I get compliments more now than before....cuddling with my husband in bed is different too...now I feel so small and safe in his arms where before I felt like a big blob of yuck!!!!! I hope that you decide to look at the positives more than the negative...your life can be so much more healthier, happier, sexier, vibrant and alive...more than you could ever wish for. Take care and think "positive"....

Congratulations and welcome...Native Texan here!!! You are going to love your band! :clap2: Never hesitate to ask a question on this board...someone usually has the answer or great advice.

I love popcorn!!! I have no problems with it. Take it slow and enjoy!!

I still go to McDonald's for breakfast and I get an Egg McMuffin with no cheese and only eat the egg and sausage and toss the English muffin...I usually get some ketchup for the egg and sausage if it's too dry. And I LOVE their coffee! I would love to get a big ol' cheeseburger and take a big ass bite but I know it would just kill me! But I still make do with fast-food since I have kids that want it still. I usually get a salad from all of them...McD's, Sonic, BK, Wendy's, Whataburger and from Taco Bell I get the burrito supreme and take the inside out and throw away the tortilla or I order a side order of their beans. I guess it's all in how you figure it out I guess. And I buy a tea or water...NO sodas. I don't want my family to have to suffer because of me and what I can and can't have.

To be honest, after last week with my REALLY bad PB....I am so freakin' scared to eat anything like beef or chicken....I did have some blackened fish and that went well...but not too sure about the others. It was so painful! :faint: I have stayed away from foods like that and just kept on with soft stuff. Grits, oatmeal, soups, cottage cheese, etc... I do eat ground beef with no problem. And salads go down fantastic! Maybe I am just getting worked up over nothing and this isn't going to be a big deal. I just didn't want to have a deflation done and then have to go back and get a fill again just for this. I did last month for my trip to Chicago and it's just a pain to go back and forth since Dr. Spivak is 45 minutes away from me. I am sure that this trip will be fine and a blast!!!! :clap2: Thanks for all of the great advice...I really appreciate it.

Ok....I think that I had a Bree (Desperate Housewives-everyone knows a Bree! Admit it!!!) moment one time during sex! Kind of an OCD thing! I could not function AT all unless I got up and fixed the sheets and retucked them making them neat.....OH MY GOD!!! How crazy is that???? But after I fixed it we got going and it was da bomb!

So far, so good I guess... Regular coffee @ home w/Splenda and creamer B: Small bowl of Cheerios w/skim milk (about 150cal) Large coffee from McDonald's w/Splenda and creamer S: South Beach Cereal Bar (140cal) L: Progresso Chicken Noodle (110cal) Update on the rest of the day... S: One packet of instant Grits and a piece of cheese. (200cal) D: Piece of fish and steamed veggies (about 300-350cal) Water all day...squeezed in here and there. :guess Night snack: Jell-o w/ff Cool Whip or sugar free ice cream bar. So about 1000-1100 calories today....not bad.

Has anyone ever hit their port because they forgot it was there??? :faint: I did the other day and it scared the crap out of me!! :omg: I was reaching behind a futon and the frame is made of steel and I hit it just right and it is still a little tender. I have to admit I have done it more than once. Anyone else?

What the heck just happened to me????

Welcome to the club! I can do grits....LOVE 'EM! But now....if I try to eat eggs....forget it!!! They get stuck! And boy that really pisses me off sometimes....I haven't tried them over-easy...maybe that would be easier to get down. Have to try that. Sorry you had to go throught that but it happens to us all sooner or later! :cry -
I think I waited about a week or so...just did all the work myself . I was not about to let him get on top! And hit my port....oh hell no!! I was so scared that would happen! It's all good now! :clap2:

Thanks for the advice guys! Keep them coming so I have a variety! What's funny is that I know what I am taking to get liquored up but can't figure out what I want to take to actually eat! Drinking....yes! Eating...no....to me, that is messed up. LOL! We are going to be camping close to Brenham, TX and it is a blast!!! There's about 150-200 people there and we have the whole facility to ourselves...bascially it's everyone hanging out, drinking and having a good time! :clap2: We belong to a club and it is our annual birthday bash and we have games, food, beer....fun, fun, fun:beer:  But this will be the first year that I am restricted to what I can eat. :hungry: :cry Dody...no worries here.....I got the hook up on the hotel down the street for the showers!!! :heh: Believe me..I am a hotel girl too and this is once a year!! :biggrin1: I am hoping that it doesn't rain!! :omg:
