I have the same fear, like I'm going to work so hard and get no where..I pray that is not the case. So far nothing tastes good and I'm unsure if if I'm hungry or satisfied, not used to the feelings yet. I'm wondering how in the world I'm going to get in all this Protein in one day!? did you swell at first, so that it appeared you had not lost anything? Just had mine done 3 days ago, scale hasn't moved yet :-(It's common during the first few days not to see any scale movement. You've just had major surgery. Concentrate on healing and following the plan your Dr. gave you and don't worry about the scale for a while! There is definitely swelling from the procedure.thank you! Yes I will definitely just concentrate on healing but am very excited to see the scale move. Thanks for the help; -)

it feels much better when I get up and walk around.. if I lay still for too long, I feel stiff and it hurts to get up.

How are you feeling, did you have your surgery?

Just had my surgery on June 17..I'm hurting pretty bad too. Pain meds help some..I'm eating tiny sips of broth and water..trying not to over due it..if I even take a a little more than a sip of something I feel pain and my stomach gurgles everytime

Going home today, I opted for 2 nights in the hospital instead of the one, just because I wanted to make sure all was well. Feeling better, no nausea. Still expected pain in tummy..and I have to be very careful if I sip something a little larger than meant..it hurts.

Just tried to eat for the first time, had a few bites of chicken broth and a cube of jello and I'm full.. headache :-(

Hi everyone, laying in the hospital bed..I guess everyone is different..I am hurting pretty bad right now . .and nauseous. I have to stay on top of the pain meds..if I forget to ask and wait to long. .oh boy! Also the nausea meds. I'm keeping my eye on the prize so I can get through this..but wow! Thanks for cheering me on everyone!

So I am super excited! I have waited for this for so long! I'm also very nervous. This pre-op diet is awful..I don't think I'm losing much weight. I'm scared I will be hungry after the surgery and ruin it. Ahhh anyone else have crazy feelings going through their minds!?
