@@mamsinator you have had good results!! Congratulations!! You are exactly right--keep on keeping on!! Just check to see that you are eating right--maybe a food diary??!! I am almost 4'11 and weighed 264 when I started in Jan. my first goal was to weigh under 200. My weight hovered at 202--203 for SEVERAL weeks before I finally got to 200. It is frustrating but remember (1) this is a process and (2) it's more about getting healthy than numbers on a scale. You'll be losing inches even when that number won't budge!! Hang in there!! -

@@KensingtonWalk They will give you nausea meds in the hospital and for at home use. The nausea for me did not last past the third day, but it is probably different for different folks! It will pass and it is definitely worth dealing with the nausea!! -

@@HealthyJudy The second day was the hardest day for me. I was so nauseated!! Thought I had made a huge mistake!! The best thing I did was walk. My doctor insists you walk a mile (not at one time--just in total) before you leave the hospital. That and the pain meds help. Take them before your pain is extreme!! Hang in there because it DOES get better!! -

Hi, everyone!! I'm 4ft. 10 3/4 in. tall. Five months post-op and down 64 pounds. Had surgery on my sixty-fourth birthday and it's been the BEST gift I've ever given myself! Blood pressure is normal, no more CPAP, no diabetes meds, and my knees are improving daily!!!
