I got my surgery date 12/16/15 and I'm so excited but yet nervous but ready to start a new way of life

Hello to all. I was amazed to find this thread. I am approaching the end of my preop process. My final supervised monitoring will be the first Thursday in November and my surgeon is hoping to have me scheduled by the third week but I'm hoping for the second week in December. It's nice and comforting to read about your journeys. I'm learning a lot from this site.

That's good to know. I'm hoping to submit 1st week in November and I hope for surgery at the end of November no later than first week of December.

@@ebezi7908 when did you submit to the insurance and why in November? Is this the month you wanted or is your doctor scheduled out that far

@@asnapril, I had to complete a 6 months supervision as well. At first I was upset but I'm getting what I need to be successful after surgery. My last visit with nutritionist is the first week on November so I'm hoping for surgery at the end of November or the first of December. I'm excited and nervous at the same time cause November will be here soon.

Keep on it and keep pushing and hopefully we will all have our surgery dates no later than the end of November. Let's keep pushing.

I'm like you all I want to be prepared. It's strange that my nutritionist has not discussed the post op plan. I have read and watched many vlogs about it. I decided to start this weekend just trying some protein shakes just to see what I like. But like I said I'm excited about the new change but scared at the same time of not being prepared. Before we know it November will be here.

Wow I've been waiting to hear from those who are leaping in November. I have to complete a 6 months supervised diet and will complete the first week of November and hoping will be approve the middle of November in hopes I will have surgery at the end of November but my sisters are saying that's Thanksgiving week. But It doesn't matter cause I'm sure a liquid diet will be required even if I wait a week afterwards. But I'm so excited and a little scared cause November is very close.

I just found out today I have go through a 6 months doctor supervised plan. I am so disappointed because my deductible is met and I was hoping for surgery in July. I won't start the plan until June 22 and I'm scared I won't meet the deadline before the year ends. I just don't know what to expect now. Anyone has any insight on end of the year approvals?
