May Sleevers, How much?
mtraverse replied to Jessica Radcliff's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I have a three month appointment on Friday! I was hoping to be down 40lbs by then but not going to make it. I am down 38 at least and hopefully a little more by Friday but I am happy with the loss. I was 204 at surgery time and now am 166.2 today! I am 26.2 lbs away from my goal and only had surgery three months ago tomorrow (may 26th). Hope you are all doing amazing! Let's keep this thread going! I wanted to post a pic! -
As always a day late and a dollar short!!! Lol I am 166.2 today! Less than the goal I set which is great but I had no idea when I set it how things would go! Yay for me, on to the next goal!

Weight loss at 6 months?
mtraverse replied to jjyogalove's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I didn't even have 80lbs to lose at surgery time! My NUT put it in percentages for me. Which was helpful because we are ALL soooo different! -
I get this randomly. Some days it happens a lot and other days it doesn't happen at all. I have had to hold on to tables and walls at times because things get a little "black" after I get up. I checked my BP a couple times after this happened and it was fine. Not sure what it's about! Will have to see what my doc says this Friday is my 3 month follow up. Long story short you are not alone.

I wouldn't know what to say or do in a situation like this. I know sorry doesn't help much but I am sad for you and your loss. Big hugs from me and many more I see. Btw I think this is as good a place as any to bring this subject as this will also affect you with your journey in weight loss! Hope you are getting some comfort from everyone!

Do you weigh yourself everyday? Bad/good?
mtraverse replied to wagyu's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I do this both ways! Sometimes I have my family hide the scale when I become too obsessed! Then other times I like to see the progress which does both negative and positive for me! I love seeing it move down but when it goes up I question what I did different. I think sometimes it helps me to be more aware of what foods work well for my weight loss and which ones do not! -
I can also relate. I do try to pick on proteins and nothing else but once in a while I have a sweet! I try to do the right things but sometimes those snacks and cravings are too strong! Weak moments happen. I want to be good all the time but it is hard! Struggle daily!

Can I have regular coffee?
mtraverse replied to avRose's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have 1-2 a day with my protein shake and a dash of Torani sugar free caramel syrup! Tastes delicious and I get 30gms protein with it. My NUT said this was ok as long as I drank enough water a day, usually not a problem for me! -

Nice! I think this site is awesome! Lots of support! Also so nice to hear that a lot of you have gone through the same emotions I had as well. I am 11weeks out but was super crazy for about 7 weeks after surgery!!! So weird to feel like a crazy PMS chick 24/7!! It's awesome -
