All - I don't know if this is where to ask this... but does the immense pressure in your chest after eating just a couple of bites of anything followed (or may in sync with) the extreme discomfort in your esophagus of spasms and the constant feeling like you have to belch but can't ever go away? (or is it just me??) Almost every time I eat, I battle this. About 50-60% of the time I throw whatever I ate back up again. I am quickly getting to dread eating now. I've added 1 priolsec a day and I've been using the Natural Brand Super Digestive Enzymes for over a month. These both help... it's 100% throw up if I don't use them. But dang! This is miserable. Volume wise, I'm eating about 1 hard boiled egg (or fried with the grease wiped off) OR 1/3-1/2 a chicken thigh (these new tiny mini chickens they are selling in Arkansas...weird little things) etc. I'm definitely not eating large volumes of anything. And I'm a little concerned that there is no way I'm getting the amount of Protein or any other nutrient I'm supposed to be having. It is a little like controlled, numbed starvation. I mean... I don't feel hungry... but I am pretty sure I'm not getting what I"m supposed to have. -
I hope you are all doing better. Let me add my scary steroid experience. I was out in the sun and heat for 5 days. I got a bad rash everywhere the sunscreen was. Ok... Went to dr. She gave me a steriod shot and sent me (and my 7yo son) on my merry way. Within 20 minutes by the time I was on the Interstate, I went into anaphlactic shock from teh shot. I was able to get off at teh next exit, park, call 911 and get picked up by the ambulance safely (at least as safe as you can be when you have become a hive and tried to scratch all your skin off). Thank the Good Lord there was only minimal respitory reaction. This is weird because while I've never taken steroids much in my life, I've NEVER had such a reaction (even the rash reaction to the heat / sunscreen) before I had my WLS surgery. No clue if it is related and my body is just different now than it was, or what. But your post title caught my attention and hit a chord.

Hi All, I'm 44. I'm from Arkansas. Mom of 2 sweet kiddos. A girl who is 8.5 years old and a boy who's 7. I had my WLS in Mexico on 6/29. I'm down 23.5 pounds about right now so I'm happy with my progress. Definitely still learning a new way to eat! -

I had my sleeve done on 6/29. I have been gurgling like crazy with everything I swallow. I have heart burn with most of it too. I am hoping that I'm doing ok.
