Wow.. Soooo many things! Most are the same as everyone else. . Being able to shop wherever I want and not get frustrated at the thought of trying clothes on . Not having to worry if I will be able to fit in the booth with my family when we go out to eat . Not having to worry if I can fit on a ride at an amusement park . Finally being able to walk down the street and feel like people are looking at me for the "right" reasons . Being able to wear heels and not be afraid of breaking my neck . Being able to feel sexy. . Finally being able to run after my children without getting short of breath within seconds . I look forward to being a role model to my children . I look forward to being healthy . I look forward to being happy . I look forward to having energy . I look forward to not looking back!

I was thinking about vloging too but I don't know I did just buy a notebook so I could just write down my feelings and thoughts so I can keep my mind free you know? I wish I knew more people around my way who were having it done so we could go on the journey together

Hey guys! So I started to lose my motivation thinking I'm never going to get a date. Seen my NUT today. I'm down another pound and she says as long as I keep doing what I'm doing and I lose 16 more lbs... Looks like September 29thish for me. Crazy too cuz my birthday Is October 1st so if be coming home on my birthday! Thank god my kids will be in school! Lol

Yeah I feel the same way. I haven't been sleeved yet but will be eventually. My heaviest was 389 I am currently 348 a lot of help from my pre op diet I'm doing (as well as some baby weight) I feel like most people on here are 300lbs or under most way under that actually. This makes me nervous I mean will things be different for me or more difficult because I am bigger? They wouldn't put me to sleep the other day to pull a few teeth because I'm too big they said... Smh I hate that! It needs to change! Ahh

Wow this pic really is inspiring!! I hope that I can as successful as you on my journey. Can you give any words of wisdom? What was your SW? And CW if you don't mind me asking.. (You don't have to answer if you don't want to) How long did it take you to fit into one pant leg of your old pants? Lol You truly are amazing!!! Good job!

I'm 29 waiting for a date for surgery. I do three small meals a tons if water I stopped all soda and have been smoke free for three weeks now. I'm down 15lbs since I started too. So far so good just wish I could get a date but I go see the surgeon on Thursday. Keep your fingers crossed! Feel free to pm me as well.. I could use a friend that's around the same as me to go on the journey with

My name is Crystal.I just started this and have been to about two appointments so far. They just started me on the diet that i guess i will be on for the rest of my life later on (after all the liquid stuff for a while) So far i'm not liking it and it gets frustrating. I mean come on.. eating healthy and in moderation is not what got me in this position to begin with right? I also have been smoke free now for almost a week and if you are a smoker you would know that that is pretty amazing (as well as makes the eating stuff that much harder for me) anyways... i know that I can do this I am a 30 year old mother of three (all of who are under the age of 5) so once i make up my mind I make it happen there is no turning back. I am also only human so sometimes I can be hard on myself and there are times when I can tell myself "whats the point" It would make this that much better if I had someone who understood what i was going through to go through it with. Anyone from the south shore or Boston area going through all of this? I want someone who can email, text, facebook, or something with me whenever or always through out this whole thing. The both of us. It will go both ways. I want to be there for them and them there for me. Do i sound crazy? lol sorry if I do. I am so excited and happy to finally be doing this for myself and for my children and im so happy for anyone else that is taking their life into there own hands as well and changing it for the better. @twinmommie. I live in Fall River also. And also having my surgery at Tobey on the 16th of this month. Who was your surgeon? Dr Krueger Crystal Leigh how did your surgery go? didn't have surgery yet. I actually still don't hAve a date yet. I've done all kinds of tests and met with everyone but the surgeon (which will be in two weeks) im on a low carb sugar free diet.. I'm losing weight... When do I get my date??!!??!!

I understand where you are coming from completely! I don't have a date yet myself but I recently (the beginning of this month as well) quit smoking after being a smoker for over 10 years and gave up soda which I have drank for over 12 years like it was going out of style plus the huge eating style change.. It's been so different And so hard! I cheated on my diet pretty bad on Father's Day (no excuse is a good excuse but my father passed on Father's Day 5 years ago and I still haven't come to terms with it yet.) point is I knew I shouldn't have cheated and I felt bad that I did BUT instead of losing all hope I woke up the next day and ate everything that I was supposed to and did and extra workout. Were all human. We all have doubts and worries and we all fall off track once in a while it's if we get back on what matters If this is something that you really want for yourself then no matter what you will find a way to overcome and make it happen. People don't know how strong they really are until they have to be that strong. Your stronger then you think

1. You are beautiful 2. Other peoples opinions don't pay your bills or take care of you so screw em! 3. Maybe they are jealous. My mom always said the boys that teased you liked you. People fear the unknown so if they are scared or don't understand or are even envious they tend to take the focus off of themselves by making some kind of rude or outlandish comment sometimes not even meaning to. 4. I happen to know a few people who actually have A.I.D.S and some of them are not skinny or tiny or even thin for that matter so again with being uneducated... Small minded people say stupid things that affect people in big ways sometimes. Sorry to that person for being small minded and or uneducated but congrats to you for reaching your goals and being healthy and happy.
