my surgeon said I would be in the hospital for three days at the most. And that recovery is much faster, because they use robotic surgery.. That by two weeks I would be feeling like myself again.

Well I can't say a word until the very end. I was off of work for almost 11 months. I broke my foot and have nerve damage. Also had surgery to repair my clavicle bone...Yes I know, I'm a hot mess!!!. My injury didn't happen at work. But I was lucky enough to keep my job. I guess things happen for a reason. I was not looking into having bariatric surgery....But the more I was home, the more I gained weight, and the more depressing it became for me.

I thought if I told her, and she'd understand me because she's a very understanding person. I can go ahead and tell my family friends coworkers... but NO! It's okay... What I have learned through all of this is that people don't really want to see you at your best. Is it just me or does anyone's weight fluctuates?? my weight fluctuates between five and 6 pounds every day.

I'm still pre-op... Waiting for August and then Dr. Berger, will have my bloodwork done and submit papers. Well at least that was what I was told. I had to wait a couple of extra months for appointments with the dietitian because of her schedule. she went on vacation so there was no openings for me :/ What was supposed to be three months of pre op has turned into seven. It's always someone on vacation.

I too am not telling my family and friends. I tried to tell my best friend, who I have known since the third grade. mind you I've known her for a very long time, she has seen my struggles with my weight loss. my attempts, and still when I mentioned to her. what I was thinking about doing . she did not like what I was saying. I could see it in her face... The only person that knows is my husband and my children my mom. I guess that's all that matters. This is why I'm here . Where people can understand me.
