Skyline

My name is Skyline and I am a chocoholic (reformed?). We have one son, 26, who is in Manhattan with his fiancée (they marry next summer). At age 69, 5 ft. 1 1/2 in., and 212 lbs. my frame was breaking down. Both hips replaced already, and a couple of disks being crushed. Grew up thin until my late 40's. Knew about Weight Loss Surgery and investigated it at NYU Langone Hospital with Dr. George Fielding. Googled VSG for Support Groups, and found BariatricPal. My surgery was on 6/16 (203 lbs.). 1st check-up visit on 6/25 (194 lbs.). Today, 7/3 (188 lbs.), 2 1/2 wks. after surgery, I have lost 24 lbs. My goal weight is 120 lbs. Still not hungry, but wanting to "taste" different things. I miss that.
