Hi. I am from SA. My surgery is July 24th. When is yours?

So excited. My husband and I are both having gastric bypass surgery on July 24th. We are taking this journey together. I am excited, scared and overwhelmed all in one. Any one else scheduled for this time? Any pointers to get us through these next 42 days?

I am 5'7 262 lbs. We have our pre op appt on July 6th. I am nervous about the two week diet but it is 2 Protein shakes and 1 meal. Except the day before is all liquids. But that might change. I have similar problems with GERD issues.

I am only planning to take 6 days off not including weekend. I jusy started a new job and can't be out long. I have a desk job so feedback i got from others is you can go back in a week but most likely will be tired. -
I had my approval but then decided to switch hospitals and now clock is back to waiting 10-15 days for approval. Good luck!

I got approved for surgery but decided to price check other facilites and found a cheaper hospital (good ratings). So I decided to change facilities. Now I have to wait again for insurance approval. And process has started all over again, anyone else come across this before?
