It has been ages since I saw mine....you know exactly what I am talking about!! IT! That thing between your legs..that alot of us had forgotten about until Slumber Parties! Thank ya DeLarla! My question still stands....how long has it been since you saw yours? I cannot find mine without lifting up my belly..and since that really depresses me I have not seen mine in at least a year! For 5 years I had someone who would let me know it was still there..kinda kept it in tune with free parts and labor. I now do all required maintence..by hand! So yes it has been over a year since I last saw IT..do you think it will still know me?

How long does the shoulder pain last? I was warned about it...but YIKES!! It really hurts no matter how much walking I do or gasX I chew. Any suggestions?

The 1st step is to attend a seminar conducted by your Dr. of choice......things will start falling into place after that! I just got banded on the 3rd and I am doing great! The Lap Band is the best decesion I ever made!

They say good things come to those who wait....well thats true because I am FINALY BANDED!!! This is the first day of a very different life for me that I am so grateful for!

Tomarrow is the big day, it seems like I have been waiting forever! Good things come to those who wait..ha! I live with my Dad and he has been really sick with the flu.....NOT GOOD! He is still pretty sick,but he is my caretaker and I'm sure he will be fine. I just do not want to catch it....coughing with incesions...can you say OUCH!!!! But I trust God will take good care of us both. I want to thank all of you, this site has been such a wealth of information! I would have never felt this confident without all the hours spent here. TOMARROW OCT 3RD......YIKES!!!! I'm the first in our little group..wish me luck! I look forward to beeing a real live bandster!

You can do this..just listen to that voice inside...it is never wrong! Curves is only 30 minutes......30 minutes a day for your health, you owe at least that much time to yourself. I go to Curves and its alot of fun ..the time flies! Keep your head up lady!

I got the check up from the neck up today at the hospital! I do not know what I was thinking when I got dressed this morning because I put on a denim dress. Okay fine except for the EKG part...the nurse says to me are you wearing a bra..I say no....she says well just lift your dress up and I can put the wires on you like that! Problem......I do not have under wear on.....or a bra......I am butt neehkid under my dress!!!! It gets better...she has no gowns for me to put on. Apparently I am the only person that has ever done this VILE thing before. She calls somewhere for a gown. We wait.....in silence. Finaly the gown arrives! It is 5 times too small...I have to keep an opening in the front which at this point was no problem because I cannot get it to close around my waist! The nurse finds a ratty blanket to shield my naked front and she proceeds with the EKG. Once she gets me all hooked up and turns the machine on she says to me " your heart is beating really fast..relax" Had I not been tired and semi naked I would have tried to kill her! I will be banded on Monday ....Finaly!
