I was tired of being over weigh and heard that my insurance covered surgery. Called insurance company to find out what I do and they gave me the numbers to a few doctors around my area. I research doctors and went to seminar on January 8, 2015. I like the doctor and they where letting you set up times for the first appt so I set it up. Meet with him and started my 6 month diet plan from there. I had no trouble getting through the diet plan,or my psychological exam. I meet with Doctor one last time for a pre-op appt in May and got an EKG, blood work done, and a chest X-ray. They told me they would summit paperwork and wait for a phone. They called me to schedule surgery a few(7) days later. I was excited!! I schedule for less than two weeks out and had my meeting with Nut to get everything checked that I had bought, as in vitamins and protein shakes. She approved and I signed finally paper work and came home on the pre-op diet which was two small meals and a protein shake a day. About a week and half leather had my surgery.
Surgery went well and I did good until the middle of the night where I kept getting sick, I slept for the next day and half. Woke up and came home. I was very tired and laid in bed the first two days I was home. Friday I finally got up and came and helped my back up with my home daycare. Monday it was back to normal. I have gotten sick a few times but have had no major problem and I just got blood work done and it all came back in the normal range. I wouldn't change a thing as far as any and all the choice I made this year. It has made a ton of difference in my energy level, and my over all happiness. I feel better, look better and I am off my anti-depressant and my anxiety meds!! I can now speak up where as before I just sat quietly on the side lines.
