I am having my Gastric Sleeve done on 03/30 with Dr Guillero Alvarez. I have 2 very good friends that have had the GS done with him 1 just a week ago and the other is a year and a half out and is down 100 lbs. I have been so extremely impressed and I work in the medical field. Everything is so professional, they are so amazingly helpful. My friend that just had it done says that American doctors should learn from them. She was so impressed. He is only 2 hours outside of San Antonio. I am not nervous at all.

June 30 - 26 days and counting...I am both excited and nervous.

I am so happy to hear that you are keeping this quiet. I have told my husband and my close friend (who went through the same surgery a year and a-half ago). I just do not want to hear the negative comments or the "...she is taking the easy way out." I guess after everything is done and they start asking I may tell them or I may just let them think whatever they want.
