Seeing everyone else's success is a great help as I was feeling somewhat frustrated with not knowing if my weight loss was slow or typical.
June 16th surgery date in Mexico.

I feel great no more back or knee pain, stopped snoring so my wife is pleased and much better energy levels.
Hi I'm a fellow Canadian who just was sleeved June 16, in Tijuana with the help of the great folks at Bariatric Pals. I'm making the trip home today and feeling great.
I'll just add my two cents to the topic. I'm 36 hours out and so far have had nothing but good things to say about INT hospital and Dr Ponce de Leon. I'm so impressed with the care I've received. I booked through Bariatric Pal and there services have been top notch.

36 hours post op and feeling good.
Just drank the dye for my X-ray not the greatest taste but tolerable.
A diet of ice chips yesterday and walk walk walk minimal discomfort. The worst was immediately after surgery I had lots of gas pain in the chest and shoulder thankfully it started to ease off after about two hours. I was up walking about 1 hour after getting back to my room from recovery. The hospital INT here in Tijuana has been wonderful the staff so attentive and quick to respond to any needs. The language barrier has not really been an issue. I'm so happy I did this and hope the rest of my journey goes as well. I have a 5.5 hour flight Saturday home that I'm a little concerned about but sure it'll be fine.
Boarding my flight in 15 minutes to Tijuana for surgery later this afternoon. Not feeling nervous, I thought I might be but am excited to get this behind me and begin winning the weight loss battle. I have lost 15 pounds in the last 2 weeks, I guess that's a start.
