I have got about a billion questions

Plenty of mourning. I have discovered a love for Greek yogurt. Never really liked milk but haven't had any problems the few times I've had it. I can eat some breads but they aren't worth it most times. I eat burgers with only one piece of bread sometimes I can finish them others I can't. Once you get used to protein first it's not that difficult IMO. The liquid diet before and after surgery will get you over the hump. I thought I would never eat sushi again but it wasn't long after and I was eating it again albeit a much much smaller portion! It's a mental game when you start to see the weight loss you will not want those things as much. Stay away from sodas if you can. I have to fight that urge too much! Good luck and remember why you're doing it take your vitamins and work on eating to live not living to eat. So far the good outweighs the bad. Everyone here is a great resource. If you need any answers someone has them. It is different for everyone. It's been a year since my surgery. Sorry if I rambled
  2. Bought a hat a month before surgery and it's two sizes too big now. Unbelievable! Enjoying the weight loss. 48 to 38/36 pants. 3x to L shirts! Coming up,on a year June 8th. 245 CW from 375 SW.

    Getting enough calories

The only time I have dumping issues is eating too much too fast. That means not chewing properly and waiting too long between meals which makes me eat that way. I still enjoy a shake for at least one meal. I focus on Protein intake and everything else is secondary. The worst foods for me dumping wise tend to be lunch meats and/or wraps plus any doughy bread. I still can eat those things but in extremely small portions. Again if I take my time and eat small meals my day usually ends with little to no dumping. Of course it's different for everyone. Hope you find a good balance because dumping is not nice! Sleeved June 2015 down 115lbs

    Bypass or sleeve ?

I had the sleeve in June. Over 100lbs down. Over eating is not a problem for me anymore and most high carb or dense breads don't sit well. Once you start to prioritize your food intake to protein first the sweet tooth will probably be kept at bay. I do still indulge occasionally but I don't find myself wanting them any more or less than before surgery. Now I do worry about sodas. I'm starting to enjoy them again but I don't plan on making them a part of my daily routine.

    June 8th sleevers?

Not terrible but I did eat a lot. Also replaced protein with pie one day! Already back on track overeating just feels terrible so I do t do it. Also I'm enjoying the scale moving down so I stay on course more often than not. Hopefully I will do the same for Christmas!

Guy's Room - Calorie target 9 months out?

I use the flavored creamers(large amounts) and don't add any sugar other than that. I don't like artificial sweeteners in anything.

Guy's Room - Calorie target 9 months out?

Protein first has worked for me so far and I don't count calories just protein and carb grams. I try to only eat three meals a day and get my fluid. I do feel I am slowly starting to eat more so I don't snack. Stalls happen and vary in length. Keep being consistent and err on the side of less. Just my two cents. Down 105 since March
  10. Most people I care about are supportive. Haven't run across any that aren't but I will tell you, they won't be in my life after that. It's my life not theirs. That's my two cents.
