Thank you ladies. Had some interdasting moments occur during my workweek. Seems that my new boss has me in her office quite often....challenging me, new goals, deadline reviews......had me in there chapping my arse about something on Wednesday....only to have me back in there yessaday for my mid-year review. She is sharp and her comments rang true. Insightful and supportive. Review results were on-target and good. She has a very, very big personality and projects an image of success. My people respect her, which makes my life easier as I'm not having to go around and put out anti-management brush fires. Even though times are tough in our faculty I feel like I'm working for the winning side. She is recently returning from a significant life changing series of surgeries and scary times yet remains strong and vital and unshaken. I have mad respect for this demonstration of courage and faith. People with this much energy and zeal for life are a blessing to be around. Yes I"m an old dude in a young man's job....or so it feels......I enjoy many of the people I work with and am gaining leverage over the lazy mofo's who are poor performers and near constant complainers. She has supported me greatly during this endeavor. #womenwillruletheworldforareason
