  1. Gonna put this little PSA here for your benefit.....while it can provide near immediate support and restoration of function.....duct tape should not ever...ever, be used as a bandage/wrap for a sore titty. Removing that stuff was like a redneck waxing. Long story....but ouch. Damn.

Oh Wow. Isn't that like against OSHA or something?

Somewhere after the 5-6 hour mark, I felt a sharp pain in my right pectoral muscle. Any flexing caused a stabbing pain. It felt much better if I held it and put pressure against it....but impossible to do with a blown out right shoulder and the need to use both hands to lift. I looked around and saw a bag of clean industrial absorbent pads and a near full roll of duct tape. Shirt off....two pads held in place....I had one of my technicians wrap the tape on.....using the roll. Perfect pressure and support....immediate relief. Shirt back on and ready to roll again. It was all good for the next 7+ hours of chaos. It was all good until I made it home and headed to the shower.....and found that the tape found areas not covered by the padding. Crazy times call for crazy solutions......just beware the duct tape.

@OutsideMatchInside We were certainly operating safely....and I ensured all my people were rotated out and had breaks. Well....almost all of them. I forgot to take any breaks myself. I did keep my water bottle refilled and tried to have fun with the situation. I very much believe in the "lead by example" principle......even though that seems to be an archaic concept in our facility at times. Too many political interests....too many opportunists and not enough people willing to jump in and shape the way things are headed....they just seem to want it given to them. I was proud of how my folks handled themselves and with the results we obtained.....even if the various Monday Morning Quarterbacks had other views.
