When i go out to the Greek gyro place, I order a chicken gyro and instead of fries they substitute steamed veggies. I always take off the pita bread and eat some of the chicken and veggies. Bring a lot home for two more meals. I love Greek gyros

Hi Margie. I was told to have my breakfast with multivitamin b12 and biotin. Then lunch with calcium and lastly dinner with calcium. I have no problems with nausea when done that way

You can be in car accident or get hit by a car or anything that would relate to you bring unconscious and they may have to put a NG TUBE in you. This will rupture your sleeve and cause you serious damage. The medical bracelet will let any healthcare facility know that you have the sleeve and not to do the NG TUBE

Hi everyone. I had my surgery August 17th with dr Judd out of orange regional medical center. Great team over there. I was back home in one day. I'm feeling amazing. I'm glad I went with a great surgeon. I see him tomorrow for my first preop appt. I'm already losing weight. I walk a mile three times a day. I just thought I should share my experience with him. Margie. Walk every minute you can. That's what I did. I was burping and passing gas. I even walked all night long. Pushing my iv pole with me. I was discharged in one day.

Hi guys. I just wanted to let you know I'm doing awesome. My surgery was August 17th. I came home August 18th. Leak test was good. I've been walking a mile three times a day. This helps with the gas pains. I manage to get all my fluids in. Tomorrow I start my three shakes a day. And vitamins again. I just heard from insure nutrition.com and they said my Medicare covers all the nutritional supplements. I was so happy to hear that. They are taking care of all of the paperwork for me and contacting my doc for everything they need. That's a big relief. Thank you everyone for all your prayers. I started this journey at 226 lbs. now I'm 191.4 lbs. I really want this. I told my doc that if he agrees to do a great job on me and take care of me that I def will do my part and take care of me as well. This is the new me time! I see him again August 25. My stitches should be off by that day. Ormc was the best hospital and they took excellent care of me. Dr Seth Judd is a great surgeon. I'm glad I had my family there every step of the way before surgery and after surgery. Thank you God for watchingbover me!

Yes Margie. I got the call Friday telling me that I had to be at the hospital 7:30 tomorrow morning and my procedure is first in line at 9:00 am. Clear liquid diet all day today. No eat or drink after midnight. I am so ready!

Yes that sounds like a plan. August 17th almost here. I spent the week making sure all the housework and laundry is done. Making sure that I have everything I need for when I come home from the hospital. I'm just waiting on my call from the hospital today telling me what time my surgery is and what time to report to the hospital. The clock is ticking.
