Oh chorizo sounds great. I have never cooked it myself, only had it at restaurants. My favorite mexican meal.

Maybe you should look around at who you would like to date. Are you drawn to overweight men? Can you honestly say that you wouldn't be more attracted to the same man if he was in better shape. I don't think it's shallow. But then I have a lot of friends that think I should not let my weight affect me as much as it does concerning jobs and men. Good luck with surgery. I am so glad I had mine done, May 20, 2015.

I make a Protein shake to cover up liquid Vitamins I don't like. I also throw some metamucil type stuff in it and a half of banana. But then for lunch I sometimes eat eggs. Someone brought me over some shredded beef from costco and i made a machaca with egg whites for a couple of days. I just have to get that Protein shake first thing or I won't fix it.

Ok, I know this isn't the same but.......Has anyone noticed their laughter has changed? Its from my throat that I have a heartier laugh now. I really notice it a lot.

I was 40 when I started menopause. I think I was about 60 pounds overweight then. Now I am trying to remember what I weighed and had I lost weight.

All I can say is Sorry and good for you for posting for others.

I like the EAS shakes the best. But the Protein count is so much higher in the Premier. Have you tried the strawberry and vanilla ones. I can't drink the chocolate very often.

I was laying there thinking "what did I do to myself??" but you will feel better soon, very soon!
Exactly how I felt slimjill, but with a few cuss words added. Get some flavored water but be sure it's not carbonated. I have been buying Nestle Pure Life at Ralphs for Buy one get two free.

I see that has magnesium in it. Somewhere I read yesterday that mag was good for muscle aches. I have had horrible aches since surgery when I wake up in morning. I went and checked my Calcium I have taken for years and it was mainly magnesium in it. Started taking it and (hopefully it's not my imagination) I felt 10 times better this morning. Took double the amount yesterday. I called nurse yesterday to see if I could take the pills now since I'm 8 weeks out and she said yes.

There's a site on here "the world according to eggface" She has a lot of good ideas

I think it was just a wake up call to watch everything I'm putting into my body. It could of been something not so beneficial as Vitamins.< /p>

I ordered liquid ones from GNC and at first they tasted good but after surgery I just couldn't handle them. Felt sick every dose. I tried in powdered Protein and yogurt shakes. Still bad. Finally I started putting them in a half of strawberry premier shake and putting in blender. I spent too much money to waste the Vitamins.

I posted this elsewhere but posting it here. I counted my liquid and chewable vitamins yesterday and the calories came to 120. I was not counting those. Not used to my pill form Vitamins having calories. Maybe they did lol. Just adding this so we all watch for those hidden calories we are not writing down.
-
I decided to look to see how many calories were in my chewable vitamins and got a shock. My Calcium was 15 c each and I take 2. i take two other chewable which were 25 c each. But the shocker was my liquid multiple Vitamins that were 40 calories. So that is 120 calories I was not counting each day. Which still wouldn't take me past 900 calories a day but I need to count.

I have to force Water down. And drink the flavored. So strange. After 6 weeks I tried plain water but I think I'm just used to the flavored now. Without forcing I am drinking 34 oz and the drs keep saying to more than double that. Have for the last 2 days.

I just gained too!! hope it goes down

I'm going to try crocs too. Birkenstocks can be expensive
-
But waitressing probably saved me from bigger problems. Who knows if I hadn't had that exercise at work how much I would weigh. And I loved it.
-
I waitressed for 50 years and the last 10 I suffered from PF. I had to wear Birkenstock constantly. Except in bed and shower.
I had birkenstock inserts for my waitress shoes. I retired in Oct and hope the weight helps.

I understand completely. I lived in a house on a busy street in not that safe of a neighborhood and could not make myself walk. And did not like getting in my car and driving somewhere to walk. Just thought I hated walking.
A year ago moved to a safe senior mobile home park. Still didn't walk. After surgery I started walking just one block. Then two blocks. I am now up to 3 blocks which isn't much but a hell of lot better than none. And I love it!! Meeting new people all the time as I walk. Sometimes I am sitting here around 7 before it gets dark and remember I haven't walked and just go do it without dreading it.
So I think it is making convenient whatever exercise you do. Not something that takes more effort mentally or physically to begin than the actual exercise. Hope this wasn't too confusing.

I was having pain on left side when walking. Would have to stop and rest

@Pamzie I have lost 24 pounds since surgery on May 20th and think that's good. 42 is a lot. I went for 2nd check up yesterday and Nut said I'm doing fine and doctor wants me to add a snack, so go figure.
Has anyone been reading the topic "Fat related routines you won't miss" on here. It is hysterical.

Hormel precooked bacon has really good stats. I use it for convenience with an egg scrambled in morning.
