Hi. I have been overweight my entire life.  Periodically, I have lost weight, but I find it and more.  I am successful in my career, but not happy in my job.  I am an only child, funny, sensitive, generous, shy and imperfect.  I found this site via facebook and a suggestion that I seek information about bariatric surgery from facebookers who have had surgery.  I hope to make a decision about surgery and to have it by the end of the year.  I do not believe that surgery will be a panacea and I believe it will give me more confidence to pursue a new job, be more active and more social.
