I did the same thing. I took on a consulting job just so I could pay for my surgeries. Thankfully still working from home so not dealing too badly with the food issue.

I don't have any temptation at home. Being in an office passing vending machines has tested my resolve. It also doesn't help that people are constantly eating trash around me. It does help to just think about how bad that stuff is for you, but for the first time I have to be around things I wouldn't eat for a long period of time and it is a transition, even if I don't want these things.
