    f**king freezing

@@higher Yeah skinny jeans are useless when you are losing, they get saggy so fast. I am not spending over $30 on jeans right now, even though I really want some nice ones in the $180 range just because they fit. *sigh* I go for bodycon dresses because you can get the most mileage out of them. Even when they get a little loose, you can bunch them up a little and they will look like they have some ruching. Yeah, it is basically dressing like a Kardashian hiding their lipo scars 101. Layers for warmth and to hide certain things, while still showing a lot off, because bodycon. Also wearing shapewear and tight clothes helps hold warmth in.

Feet falling asleep while on the toilet

I am going to agree with @@BigViffer here and after weight loss it is all about posture. I seriously have to mindfully sit all the time. I can't just sit any old kind of way or I will hurt in the car, my desk even on the couch. You have to adjust your posture for your new weight. And yes I found I was even sitting wrong on the toilet. When my feet fall alseep, I adjust my sitting position and it corrects instantly.

Do you love your Fitbit ?

I have been a fitbit customer for a long time. I really hate how the company has changed and what has happened with the products. I think they are subpar to a smart watch and other options. If you are going to get one, get one with GPS and HR monitoring, the rest of the are so inaccurate it isn't even funny anymore.
  4. With a BMI of 31, I would just get flank lipo and a tummy tuck if needed. The ballon and how they use it in the US is a waste. At least with lipo, you won't gain fat back in the areas you had lipo. Also look into a ketogenic diet, if you have never tried it, it might work for you.

PMS / eating more than normal ...

@@MrsKarenC2008 My hormones keep going nuts from losing so much weight. I can always tell when they are out of whack because that is when I crave chocolate and I hate chocolate. What I do is... I get the Robert Irvine Fit Crunch Protein bars, I keep those around. The calorie count on them is kind of high but like 1/8-1/4 of of one is enough for cravings. Oh Yeah Bars Halo Top Ice Cream And I get the sugar free Chocolate from Trader Joes or the Lily's Stevia sweetened chocolate when I am feeling fancy. I try to just make sure I have good options around instead of like trying to just tell myself to chug Water or something. The good options work for me and I don't over do it. Those cravings though are balancing out some since my hormones have improved since my WL has slowed a little.

    f**king freezing

I too have wondered how can I keep dressing slutty fun, now that cold weather is upon us. Over the knee boots (you are short so that might be an issue for you, I dunno I have long legs), body con dresses, and dusters/blazers. Or skinny jeans, bodysuits, satin jackets. Once I hit my first under 200 pounds goal, I'm getting a fur.
  7. My beloved cubs are in the World Series, I am almost under 200 pounds and I don't wear the largest size in regular sizes. Things I never thought would happen, but they feel so amazing. What a joyous year this has been.

    Not the ending I thought.

I am very sorry you worked at this so hard and didn't get the outcome you wanted. I belong to a lot of keto groups, which is how I eat currently post-op. I have a facebook friend that lost 250 pounds on keto, has kept it off and had their excess skin removed. Lots of women see PCOS improvements. Look into it, do your research. It is a way of life though, not a diet. You can't think of it as a temporary solution but a way of eating. There is a lot of scientific research, so just make sure you do your research. Even with the sleeve, I kept gaining and losing the same 3 pounds for weeks until I went back to strict keto. It works if you follow it and you like it.

    African American Sleevers

@@cyndi990 I had a little GERD the first 9 months if I didn't take my medicine and over ate. I don't have those issues now and I take no meds at 15 motnhs. 60% is their estimate. You can exceed that 60%, if you work hard. You can lose 60% just with the sleeve and minimal effort but if you want to exceed it, you have to make life long changes and stick to them. Northwestern has amazing results. You will lose a lot of weight in just the 6 month program. Most of the people that I have seen on forums that go through NW, get to 100% easily.
  10. I am looking for some sheer pantyhose or tights with some compression on the legs to hold my thighs a little tighter. Any brand suggestions that you have used since surgery and you have loose skin on your legs? Cost not an issue if they work.
  11. @@annagene12 Right now I am thinking about Dr Timothy Fee. He has done some work on someone I know after massive weight loss and his work and technique are like nothing I have ever seen before. http://www.coastalcosmetic.com/

Pills are they hard to swallow

@@Serenity141 I could feel them because of swelling, but no issues with swallowing them. Luckily thanks to surgery, I was able to stop all the big pills pretty soon.

    Anyone use 310 shakes?

They are kinda low Protein for immediately post op. I have 15g Protein drinks but they are just for like when I am running around and I am a year out, and eat over 100g of protein a day. You need something with meal level protein replacement, closer to the 30 range. Just because post-op, you might only be able to have 1/2 a shake and that might take a while. Save those shakes for when you are further healed.

    Does being active get easier?

@@Hiraeth When the weight comes off I feel like you naturally become more active. I do jumping jacks now just because I can and I am bored. I run when I don't have to. I don't try to bring everything in from the car in one trip, I don't care if I make more trips up and down the stairs. The more you lose the natural it becomes. Also being active is useful just because you center of gravity changes and you have to learn your body over again.

    Clothing changes?

It is hard to answer because everyone is different, clothes fit differently depending on your build, and it depends on you start size. I have always like my clothes fitted, so I started swapping clothes out soon and often. I will not wear something that is too large. My suggestion is to only shop when you need a size, and plan on wearing it immediately. Do not shop for the future. You can skip sizes or move through a size very quickly. Just shop on demand.

    10000 steps a day.

You can lose weight just walking 10,000 steps a day.
  17. @@chycky Thanks for the suggestion. I am looking for something that is sheer to the waist though. I am looking to wear something short and I need that inner thigh control near the top.

Cake or no cake? Cake substitution?

Well if you had time to order these would be perfect. http://www.eatmeguiltfree.com/collections/brownies/products/birthday-cakev Since you dont have time to order. Google low carb cheesecake, and use a recipe that has to be baked with an almond meal crust, those taste the best. At 18 days I still suggest you skip it though. If you were further out you could have a birthday cake Protein bar. Let everyone else have cake and you have a Protein shake.
  20. I am in the minority here but I think practicing tiny bites pre-op is pointless and a waste of enegy. You learn real fast, like day one, how to take small bites and sips. The swelling from healing will teach you real fast. It also changes, and you adjust. You can NEVER know pre-op what post-op is going to feel like. If you want to do something now that is going to help you post-op, weigh and measure all your food. That skill is doing to do a lot more for you long term than fake practicing small bites when you have no idea what a small bite is really going to be for you post-op.

    Face weight loss

Find a dermatologist, hopefully a good one with an esthetician. Almost nothing you buy over the counter is going to give you the results that a good derm, some creams and a few chemical peels or microderm treatments can do.
