    Nascobal nasal spray.

I used it the first 6 months. It was fine for me.

Has anyone be re-sleeved? Revision ?!

Why not evaluate what you are eating instead of another surgery? If you aren't eating right another surgery isn't going to save you.
  3. Legally they can't tell you when to have surgery. Did HR say this or your immediate boss?

Drank wine, I know stupid but need advice

@@volfan Honestly I do not think your gain has nothing to do with the alcohol. Every time I drink I lose 3 lbs. You can have wine, probably not 3 glasses but a glass of wine isn't a big deal. You already see the issue and probably won't repeat it. I wouldn't change anything, just keep eating right and the weight will come off.

    300s to under 170

@@magnificent2015 If you make serious lifestyle changes and stick to them you have lose all the weight you want. I have lost 170lbs in 16 months, started heavier than you. I think I can lose down to 150ish if I want but I don't think I want to lose more han another 20 pounds.

  10. I pay for my insurance entirely out of pocket since I am self employed and I went from Dr visit to surgery in 8 weeks. I just picked a plan that I knew that could happen with. It has nothing to do with her being on government assistance and mostly with the fact your insurance sucks.

    Emotional Wreck & Struggeling

@@GACaldwell I have no idea how many grams of Protein that is, since 1/2 a chicken breast could be anything. The change I would make with that would be for a week, I would give the cheese up. I would increase my protein. You didn't post calories or grams of protein so it is pretty impossible to make suggestions off you meal plan but at this point out from surgery you probably need to increase calories. How many calories a day is this?

    Emotional Wreck & Struggeling

@@GACaldwell You say you are eating good but what is eating good? I have a food log for the past 16 months and I can screen shot everything I have eaten for the past 16 months. What are you eating, in what amounts. Saying you are eating good and getting your Protein in is meaningless. I can get my protein in, eat a ton of carbs and stay under calories. I won't lose like that but it will appear that I am "eating good".

    Do you miss food?

@@GinaCampbell I'm over a year out. I could eat whatever I wanted. Nothing stops me but me. It might take me hours to eat a burger (haven't tried it with a bun) but physically I know I could. Especially if I was washing it all down with a shake. The shake would just push it all through. Once you are healed it is easy to eat around your sleeve. You are the person with the bad recovery and you are not even fully healed, so you don't know what it is like to have a normal fully healed sleeve yet. Nothing will stop you but the desire not to do it. So people need to stop focusing on what they can't do in the short term and what they will miss and concentrate on changing their relationship with food and eating. Restriction will only save you for so long. Eventually your brain and will power are the only thing standing between you and regain. Learning to eat properly and enjoy healthy foods is the opportunity that surgery gives you. Following your eating plan step by step and slowly relearning how to eat and doing it with healthy items resets your brain and tastes. Too many people squander that chance with the "eat the same but smaller portions" mentality. Then when they are healed and can eat more, they start gaining.

    Alcohol

I didn't drink before surgery, I gave it up because of my diabetes. I have enjoyed alcohol a few times since surgery. My tolerance is the same. I don't get tipsy any faster. I don't really enjoy alcohol so I don't have it often. It is a non issue for me, but I think it is worth it to be cautious about it. Especially if you miss food, are unhappy or lived a life prior to surgery where you were not very social and being social is new to you. I partied enough in college and my 20s enough for 4 lifetimes.

Well the point of compression is that it is tight. If it is tight now it should work.

    Seriously?

I'm not required to support or uphold someone on the wrong. Especially not a stranger on the Internet. More specifically ethically and morally I am never going to support someone engaging in dangerous self destructive behavior. Most of us aren't here to sell things or ourselves so we can conduct ourselves in a manner that is aligned to our beliefs and ethics instead of being fake PC to try and make friends with people that are basically self harming. That is not support, that is enabling. ALSO THIS IS THE RANTS SECTION. PEOPLE CAN RANT HERE.

    Chewing but not swallowing

I'm always shocked when this comes up, how many people are cool with it. I swear WLS is an anorexic dream for some people. SMH
  19. Almost 16 months, never physically hungry unless I go 12-16 hours without eating. Are you taking a PPI? If not that could be why you feel hungry.

    Dumping syndrome

If you are really dumping you feel like you are dying or you just want to die to get it over with. Just having the runs isn't enough. You would know because you would be completely miserable.

    Do you miss food?

I eat all day every day most days so no I don't miss food at all. I eat it all the time I eat every 2-3 hours and I intermitten fast 16:8, plenty of food and liquids in my day. I don't miss eating how I used to because it cost me so much $$$$$$ and other things. Also my tastes are completely different now. I could go to steak and shake and get a milk shake, fries and a burger. There is nothing to stop me, but I am just not interested. I had a steak a few hours ago, and I am completely satisfied. No food tastes as good as wearing a medium in any store I want.

    When everyone else is drinking

I drink bottled water. No one cares. Sometimes I drink coffee. People seriously don't care what I drink, I am the most fun and outgoing anyway. I don't need liquor to turn up.
