Ok, bit the bullet and ordered the book

How many dates do you think it should take for a someone to date another person exclusively? That is like a whole next level of a relationship.

Do you track your food? How many calories do you eat a day? What are your carbs? How much protein do you have a day?

I'm not sure why anyone dating would expect the relationship to be exclusive instantly. If someone wants an exclusive relationship there should be a conversation about it. Playing golf in the afternoon and going to dinner once doesn't make me someone's girlfriend. That is like some guy buying you a drink at the bar and thinks he owns you for the night. I really don't think that is normal behavior, especially not for GenX. Dating more than one person is not game playing. There is no reason to dedicate all you time to one person. Especially if you are a young woman looking for a partner to have children with. Dating one person at a time really narrows the net you can cast. Believe me these guys are casting the widest net possible.

    Really missing coffee

The Starbucks cold brew is cold which is fine in summer but was annoying in winter. I like buy cold brew concentrate because I can have it warm if I like.

    Stuck for 3 months

Stalls are good at least for me. After I stall out, I lose a lot of weight fast, it comes off in chunks. Then I stall, lose inches. Repeat.

    Really missing coffee

I'm lazy I just buy my cold brew at Trader Joe's. We had a conversation about it a while ago. Someone else said they just use their french press overnight in the fridge.

Actually if you can handle oil without dumping, Adding some MCT Oil to whatever you having in the morning will give you a boost without caffeine. You just have to build up your tolerance to it, because it can cause diarrhea even in normal people if you aren't used to it. Start with a teaspoon and work your way up. If you blend shakes, add it to a shake and drink it down. It is flavorless. I like the Now Foods Brand. It is great before workouts for energy. http://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-MCT-100-Oil/dp/B00KPZXER6

    Time Released protein

You don't need a special brand, anything that has Micellar Casein is slow release. You need instantized whey for the day for sure to meet your Protein goals. I would discuss it with my doctor. I was thinking about adding a Micellar Casein shake before bed to help with hair growth, but that would on top of my regular protein goals.

    Really missing coffee

I don't have any acid issues. I don't take anything for acid. Drink coffee everyday. Live Strong isn't exactly the mayo clinic. If you are concerned about acid, drink cold brew coffee.
  13. Your energy is pretty low but you should be able to go back to work in a week or less I would think as long as your surgery goes well. Hopefully some band to sleeve people respond, they would know better what that recovery is like. You might want to post in that forum.

    No alcohol ever?!

I have had alcohol maybe 4 times since sugery. My tolerence is the same. When my weight gets lower that might change, but i am not in the liquor hits me fast camp. If you have your mental issues worked out before surgery, you shouldn't have to worry much about transfer addictions. This is a lifestyle, not a diet banning things forever is unrealisitic and makes them too tempting to people. My plan was alcohol allowed after 3 months.
  15. Find Protein shakes that you like, that don't seem like punishment. So many people have surgery and hate Protein Shakes, that just makes your life a lot harder. Find other sources of protein you like. Try yogurts, etc. It is better to know what you like now, than wait until you have a small healing stomach and have to guess.

Had not read the book, but what you are saying is accurate. First hand experience. Very deep dating pool and many options (more if you are not picky about conversation). I like the point about the man paying. That is one area I am highly old fashioned on and I think a woman has control issues and is not ready for a relationship if she insists on paying (and that test has been proven correct every time it has happened). I make roughly the same as my girlfriend, and while I pay for the meals and buy tickets she makes up for it in the long run by picking up occasional big ticket items. So neither of us feel dependent on the other nor used. But I always consider it a privilege to pay though I know she could. Very interesting point about trying to float several guys at once. BTW guys know when they have been put in a holding pattern by a woman who is juggling several. If we stick around consider it a compliment because we think you are worth it. They totally know they are competing after a while and that makes them compete. That is a better way to learn their interest and intentions than trying to make them wait for sex.

I know exactly what you mean. I just want some simple companionship. I met someone we hit it off and I focused all my energy on the even though I knew better, because I don't have a ton of free time and dating is exhausting. When I start dating again, even if I end up dating one person at a time, I am not going to see them more than once a week for a while, so things don't accelerate too fast. Seeing someone multiple times a week accelerates the whole thing and creates false intimacy. Then after I met this guy, I deleted all my dating profiles too soon. I should have kept seeking people longer. I don't have the solutions more than anyone else, but I know dating one person at a time is a recipe for disaster.

Ok, bit the bullet and ordered the book

I wrote my reply and the app updated and so I'm writing it again. The app update is awesome. Anyway, it used to be that men only had access to women they could see or touch. Now they have access to thousands of women, real or imagined. All the women they may think they have access to may not entertain them. The prevalence of porn does not help either but that is even a longer topic. So this whole concept of withholding from a man and dangling your self in front of him as some special prize won't work. There are plenty of women with no standards for them to choose from so you have to work harder to make yourself seem more appealing. Withholding sex is pretty meaningless at this point, this isn't the 60s. The 90 day rule is ridiculous and out dated for this reason and it is the whole premise of the book. And a guy who is seeing more than one woman can easily wait you out for 90 days on sex, it will just be a game for them. That isn't the way to weed out players. It takes more work. 20. Think good thoughts before you go to sleep. Don't buy a ton of stuff. 7 months later I still have stuff from before surgery. Rest, even if you feel awesome, even if you have a ton of energy. Rest.

    Food satisfying after sleeve?

My tastes are not different. I still love food, food is still delicious. The only thing I will is that things I was lukewarm about before surgery I hate now. That I think comes from just having so little room for food, things I don't like really seem like a waste now. Also if you don't have sugar for a really long time. When sugar hits you in something it's a huge shock surprise. I got a salad from the deli. I asked several times if it had sugar, I was assured it did not. Took a bite and I was like OMG Sugar!!!!!!!!

    What's the 1st thing

I took a luxurious soak in the bath tub the other day. I remember the last time I got in the tunnel over 100lbs ago and I was wedged in the tub with barely any water. It wasn't on my weight loss bucket list but it was a nice surprise.

    Let's Talk: Fears?

I had a lot of fears, but I ended up losing 100lbs in 6 months without being hungry. Getting over my fears was well worth it. Just think about seeing your 13 year old graduate college and get married and you are healthy and a help to them instead of a burden because of your medical problems getting worse because 10 -20 years from now you are just more obese and sicker.
