the commercials killed me to! everytime i saw one i would just change the channel for a few minutes then go back to what i was watching,it did help,now i dont even notice the commercials anymore,make sure you are drinking your protein shakes they do help, its always gotta be tougher before it gets easier,just hang in there change the channel when u see a food commercial and remember protein shakes!! best wishes! -
you look less than 170! anyways your progress is amazing, i hope this isnt to personal but did u have to have any plastic surgery,sorry if im askin to many questions lol

I have always heard it is hard to get insurance after the lap band

hey we had our surgery at the same place!!! sorry your having a problem finding insurance to cover you, i heard it is hard to find,alot of places dot want us once banded

Im sooooo irritated I have lost a total of 18 LBS since i was banded June 26th of this year,I jump on the scale this morning and I have gained 3 LBS????? how??? I eat about 900 calories a day and exercise almost everyday!!!!! very discouraged, anyone have any possible answers for me?????:thumbup::thumbup:

thanks for your response, im thrilled about the 18 LBS, just wasnt thrilled with the 3 LBS i gained lol. what your sayin does make sense, i will try to up the calories and see what happens, I appreciate the advise and will def. up the calories

i was banded 6-26-08 and have lost 18 LBS,so just relax it comes off slower than we want BUT it does come off -

I was banded 6-26-08 with a BMI of 40, so far i have lost 18 LBS there was 2 weeks i didnt lose anything,then Bam! it started coming off again, i guess it comes off in spurts, congrats on your weight loss so far! at least we are not gaining try to have patience it will come off -

I have blue cross of southern california and it was easy as can be within 3 months of starting the whole process i was banded! and they were very fast in authorizing the surgery, i knew the day after my surgeon sent them all the paperwork that afternoon they called and told me i was approved, hopefully it goes as smoothly for you,where you trying to get banded?

hey all!!! I had my first fill yesterday!! i was banded 6-26-08, so far i have lost 18 LBS since my surgery date!!! go me!!! LOL the fill was not as bad as i thought it would be...go June bandsters!!!!!!!!

I wish i lost 26 LBS! i was banded June 26th of this year and ave lost 15 LBS, i go for my first fill today!! yippie!! -
I was banded 6-26-08 and have only lost 11 LBS so far somewhat disapointed.i go for my first fill tomorrow afternoon and im nervous! lol
