I was banded on June 26 th and am still on clear liquids and porteins shakes only, does it suck YES, do I have to do this because my surgeon told me to YES,they know best please do what they tell you to do -

Im doin a little better today, but i keep havin sharp pain when i breathe in to deeply im assuming its gas pain, also my stomach wants to burp it comes all the way up but wont come out???!! LOL :thumbup:

thank God I am not the only one! i was banded on 6-26-08 I am hungry,dizzy, soooo emotional ! i cry because im hungry! this week-end i told my mom i want it out of me LOL good God I hope this stops soon!!! i feel so out of it physically & mentally -
Im back!!!!! I made it!!! 7 days out and im a little hungry protein shakes arent really cutting it,any suggestions? my surgeon has me on a 3 week clear liquids only diet! UGH! lol

i bought EAS vanilla then i went to the grocery store and bought those sugar free syrups, they have all flavors! i found them in the coffe isle at Albertsons,you can turn a vanilla shake into any flavor you like

not sure about that one,but i went to costco and they have EAS brand, 6LB bag 27 grams of protein and the price was under 45.00 dollars -

I have blue cross & they approved my surgery and said they will cover whatever comes along with the band , as long as my doctor says its needed.maybe you should call again, do u have a healthcare associate? -
OMG! I sooo feel you on that, imdue to be banded on the 26th,and im havin panic attacks & nightmares,I keep thinkin they will re-schedule me or something LOL I think we need to just relax and everything will take its course:thumbup:

I quit 7 months ago I smoked a pack a day for 20 years,is it hard YES!! am I glad I did it YUP! My doctor gave me Chantix and that is what helped me stop smoking! im sooooooo happy to be smoke free,best of luck to you in quitting
