  1. you are right about what you are saying. for the first three months or more you'll feel like a freak. like you've gone from being a compulsive eater to being a completely abnormal eater. it's true. but then you'll get over it and be able to eat normal foods (in small quantities) and start to see the benefits. ask yourself. do you want to be 300lbs for one more day? or do you want to be 185 and healthy and still enjoy the foods you love (in small quantities)? it's not like you stay hungry but are unable to eat. you won't be hungry anymore. Where i could sit and eat 10 rolls of sushi before now i can only eat FOUR PIECES but i am full and satisfied. you'll learn to live this way. if you want it bad enough. but make no mistake - you will put in some work. it won't just happen by itself. best of luck to you!

    The wonderous Impacted feces

not to be gross but.....im a girl so i think we're used to doing these types of things but.....i've actually reached up in there with a finger and hooked it out. it's like hard little balls. i know it's gross but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. i haven't had problems since then lol.

    Regrets?

i regretted it at first. maybe for like the first 3 or 4 months post-op. i thought i'd never be normal again. sick every time i ate. felt like a freak. but now. six months or so later. i can eat pretty normal (small quantities of course but most any type of food) and i'm down 70lbs and i don't regret it. i didn't tell many people so that part is up to you. it's a deeply personal experience.
  4. welp just officially changed my goal weight. just when I was 3lbs away lol. now i'm 23lbs away. no biggie. im game #justdoit

    Big bosomed friends

oh yeah big time. i went from DD to modest C cups. I will warn you though if you lose quickly you may have some sagging but it's a small price to pay
  7. @@Dub thanks! im not rockin them yet but i will be soon. haha the skinny mirror at work. love this mirror! @@mngreeneyes @@sharkgirl OMG i hear you! i've been working out hard for most of my loss but my butt is not what it used to be. yes still big but not as high and tight as i would like so i'm like squat squat squat!!!

    1. Cervidae

      Cervidae

I'm still 78 pounds away from my initial goal, but I would not be surprised if I did the same thing.

  9. one other thing i will tell you. if you order a dress from china (which i did by accident) an XL is apparently a size 10 there. smh. and even then it's tight! also the quality sucks. like i literally brought a whole nother change of clothes just in case this dress ripped down the middle seam. just an fyi.

@Rose1up! oh yea it's pure crap. u get what you pay for haha i LOVE thai tea but mostly when it has that fresh cream and sugar ok i will try. i work out so much but it's a problem area right now. along with my thighs and butt and ..... lol

    Surgery day!

@Rose1up! looking good! so apparently a size 10 is an XL in china. and even then it's tight lol. Also the clothes are so cheaply made that I actually brought a full change of clothes in case this dress rips in two!! argh. also my stomach pooch is still an issue. gonna start working out harder!
  12. haha this is totally true. i kept my 18's until they were sagging off me! didn't buy new clothes till i was size 14. i've since bought a couple 12s. they are starting to get loose so yay for that. im excited. i feel sexy again and i like wearing fitted things. still some pounds to go to goal but excited. you do spend a lot of money on clothes tho.

    Strength Training

i started lifting prolly 2 months out. i still do cardio every time i work out but now i do weights as well. squats, crunches, arms exercises. i feel it's helped with not only loose skin but the shape of my body is different when i work out than it was when i lost weight by just starving a few years back. i am six months out.
  14. best of luck to you. i did this same thing on my thread. it's called surgery day and i went from day one till today. stay positive and enjoy the ride!

    Before & After pics

not at goal yet. first 20lbs pretty much flew off but after that i had to work my butt off lol. work out 3 to 5 days a week. always do cardio and then some weights. try not to eat sugar, carbs, caffeine or alcohol. i cheat a little here and there but mostly i stay on track. can't over eat cuz....well cuz i can't so that's good lol. original goal weight was 160 but now i'm thinking of going to 150 or even 140. i'm in a loose 12 right now. would like to see what it's like to be in single digit size! good luck everyone. SW: 232 CW: 165 Goal: Not sure!

    Surgery day!

"If you want exceptional results you have to put in exceptional effort" John Cena this quote really hit home to me cuz i realized i was the type to say well i worked out a little today but it's better than nothing! well you know what? it's not "better than nothing". you want half assed results then keep doing half ass work. you want amazing results then put in amazing effort! ive been working "pretty" hard and getting "pretty" good results but now i want exceptional results so to that end i've worked really hard this week so here's to an exceptional week! xo

    Surgery day!

oye. i literally ate like crap all weekend and didn't work out. woke up at 171. smh. my body is crazy. but i'm gonna work hard this week. need to hit that 160 mark for my initial goal. then prolly try to go to 150 and see how that feels. in a size 12 now which is very exciting. i feel smaller than a 12 tho. i joined a gym last week so i can start pushing to the next level. going to hire a trainer too. this is my "skinniest" outfit

    Disgusted by meat?

first of all that dog. wow. gorg. second of all YESSSSSSSS. my tastes changed a LOT after surgery. some things i just don't crave anymore or can't stand at all. i want to say it's gotten a little better (i was sleeved Oct) but there are still some thing i just don't like or my body doesn't like. don't be upset by it. you're living a new life now and some things will change. : ) good luck!

    My body is crazy!

things have been tricky but 'ok'. im down to 171 now. had a bit of a stall week last week trying to figure things out but this week i seem to be 'ok'. i admit im not sure what works anymore or what my loss triggers are but im just trying to stay good. i worked out twice yesterday but my Protein intake was bad so im gonna try and make that better today

    Surgery day!

@@1sttime ok see. you understand what im saying. i'm a 4.0. haven't played in a year so i go back to clinic and the 4.0's still hit like 4.0s so you gotta be ready for it lol. and im clearly not. my footwork was hideous. but the work out was good. not sure if imma go back right now or not cuz my knee hurts already and i only did one clinic. i'm down 62lbs so surely it's better on my body but i also play singles so that's hard at 44. even down 62lbs lol. best of luck!
