Almost same thing happened to me. It was due to the submitter who repeatedly left information out that was there adn got denied twice. I got supervisor involved to found the info and set up a peer to peer which got me approved, that God. Sent a letter to her bosses boss who responded right away. doctor couldn't apologize enough and all is good scheduled for 31st of july. they are suppose to be your advocates and she did not her job properly either to being under trained or over worked. my yelling and screaming did get me somewhere though. Congrats I finally got approved TODAY after two denials. It took a peer to peer with my surgeon and Cigna to get approval. So excited. July 31st is less than 2 weeks away! Sue

My insurance is being super picky no final approval date and surgery scheduled July 31. I was told to lose before surgery too started at 300 down to 273. Have hospital who does the submitting work their magic. They deal with insurance companies constantly, good luck Sue

Scheduled for July 31 but insurance hasn't given clearance yet. Such stress. But getting excited. I can't imagine it not going thru given I did all the work and meet the criteria. Hopefully will know by Wednesday. trying to get on the weight loss challenge on this forum but don't know how. Anyone have luck. Its for nine weeks starting monday. Sue

I am hoping what happened to you isn't happening to me. My docs office submitted almost 2 weeks ago and today Cigna said they didn't have all the info they needed and was going to deny (via letter) when everything they said was missing WAS submitted. The doc office is resubmitting today what was missing and hoping for approval. Just BS that they say stuff is missing when it's their in front of them to hold up the process. Very frustrated. Wanted to hear accepted this week since I did all I was suppose to and all was submitted. UGGGH! No guarantees I understand even if you meet all the qualifications. Just have to pray and be patient something I am not very good at. And why are they approving and paying 80% of all the prep appointments for surgery if not going to approve surgery. Crazy Sue

I too am waiting for Cigna to approve and give me response. They say it will be this week. I will let you know if I have same issue. I too did everything I was suppose to in the 90 days and I was never told about medical history. I read the requirements too many times. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Don't panic, your doctors office deal with the insurance companies every day and I am sure they will help you come up with solution. You have come so far to give up, but I would probably react the same. Keep in touch Sue

I have been submitted to insurance for July 31st. Fingers crossed there are no problems. I too am getting used to the life time change as not using food to sooth or in stressful situations or especially in celebration situations. I have couple friends that aren't on board, ones that have strong opinions on everything. Have to let it go. They like to point out all the negative but I have been doing a good job of ignoring. Focus really has to be on us going thru this and staying determined. I look forward to hearing on everyones experience in July since I am at the end. Sue

I take liquid Vitamins. They are in power form and u add Water. They are so great I came off of coffee with no headache or withdrAwl at all. You absorb 90% of the vitamins when they are liquid. Sue

I am a 44C but I was a 32b in 1993 when I was normal weight in my 20's so it will be interesting to see what happens to my boobs when I lose. They are saggy I am sure they won't ever be perky again. Unless I do something about that. Lol Sue

Wecome sleevers I am July 31. Ready now but waiting til after my sons wedding. Very exciting and nervous times. Lots of people here for support, advice and even more showing amazing results Good luck keep us posted Sue

Stay with this. No one ever said it was going to be easy, and hard work and determination pays off. Trust me you will never forgive yourself for giving up. You are being g tested to see if you have the strength to keep going. There will always be bumps in the road but the destination will be all worth when the weight is lost and you didn't give up!
