Had my Surgery, I'm 5 days post op as of today. July 6, 2015. my nurse scared me to death the day of surgery. She says to me so are you mentally prepared for what is to come after surgery. And I'm thanking yea I am, is there something I need to know. lol. She says well most of all my patients are dry heaving and have terrible gas pains. we try to give you everything to help with that but there's only so much we can do for you. my Patients tell me that its a pain that they have never experienced before and they could not explain to anyone what they were going through. Oh My I said to my husband maybe I can do this on my own, lets talk about getting me out of this bed and going home. That's how scared she made me. Well I came out of surgery with minimal pain in my tummy, No Gas Pain, No Heaving or Vomiting, and No Sore Throat. Just a very dry mouth. and Very Tired. So Now I am 5 days post OP and still extremely tired I came back to work today due to its a desk job and doing ok. Talked with the Nutritionist and she says get more protein in that will help with me being tired. If that helps boy houdie I will be doing awesome. I cant start purees until Saturday a week out. Cant wait for that. that will last me about 3 weeks. Have not weighed yet. will do so at my first 2 week post op apt with the dr.
It is Oct 22, 2015, I am a little over 3 months now, I'm down to 156, which is 24lbs down. I would say I'm happy with this out come; Of course I would love to be down way more but my body just says no. I exercise Monday through Friday I do 30 min of cardio and I do 30 min of weights each day of the week. I take Saturday and Sunday off and be with my girls. I do cheat hear and there, I have trouble eating 5 times a day, so I actually just eat 3 times a day and If I remember or need to I will have a snack. I still have a primer protein shake every am which has 30 grams of protein. I loose about a 1lb a week and If I keep on track I will be in a healthy range at 6 mths at 145.. I would love to see my self at 125, which would put me at 11 mths. Will see how it goes.
