October 2015 Peeps......where U be ? What it is ?
chrisredjeep replied to Dub's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You are so right about the sugary things! I do my best to keep away from carbs and sugary things because one is never enough! Better for me to avoid . You are doing great anyway so all the best from me in sunny Wales uk -
Jinty that is how I feel too. I'm always happy to see the scales moving down but sometimes knowing your jeans are too big and you can get in the next size is even better! I'm enjoying my running C25k and I never thought I would say that! It won't be too long before I'm up to 100 lb lost and you know what you will not be far behind me Go girl go !

I need to do this, no matter what
chrisredjeep replied to Micoxv's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hey mi of you are running more than me ! I really enjoy my early morning runs and I have decided that when winter comes I will still walk with my dog early but I will run on a treadmill which I will buy. No fun running in the rain ! Will have a go at your smoothie too. Enjoy the weekend. It's my grand daughters christening on Sunday so I will be avoiding the high cal buffet offerings and cakes ! -

Family totally against my surgery
chrisredjeep replied to GinaCampbell's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Gina just do it. I am 63 and before my op I weighed 18 stone. I was unhappy tired and miserable with everyone. Now 10 months out I'm over 90 pounds down I can run after my granddaughter and I am happy. I have loose skin but so what , no one sees it ! I'm in Wales UK and had my op in Carmarthen. I wish you the very best of luck and I will be hoping that your daughter comes round to your point of view and that she is supportive. Please let us all know how you get on. Hugs coming to you. -

Ha Mico yes that's maybe not the right way to be meeting another sleever ! Jinty I am going to a place near Banstead to look at a machine which is a road roller as my other half desires to purchase one for his work. Not best pleased about going in the 4 x4 all that way but hey ho that is how it goes. He has been so supportive to me as regards my surgery it's the least I can do. -

Hi Mico Well I'm still running and I was very surprised on weighing today that I had lost 3 lb ! No running now till Monday but you are right it is strangely addictive. Never ever thought I would enjoy exercise. Got a busy weekend ahead it's my granddaughters first birthday tomorrow and on Sunday I am going to see a machine that my other half wants to buy. It's the other side of London so quite a pull for us in the car. I have never in real life met another sleever but it's great to talk to all the folks here on the board. I have made a great friend of soodoo and she has encouraged me no end. Jamie logical put me in the mood for the running and lots of the forum contributes give me a good laugh with their comments. Have a great weekend -

Experienced frothing for the first time...OMG
chrisredjeep replied to camry2016's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh I remember the first time it happened to me. Valentina is right it's doing something too quickly or eating the wrong thing. I know with me it's eating too quickly so I try to make sure I do not get too hungry then eat too fast. -
This will pass Rosie. You are better than me I still weigh ever morning after running ! Gone mad today and bought new running shoes.
