Hi I'm new to the forum I too have abdominal scars and mesh. I wanted the bypass but with these issues dr said I had to do the sleeve. Tonight at a support meeting I heard lots of negatives about the sleeve. But these folks did not have the sleeve. Someone they knew had it. I feel if you really want to change for the better you will do what is needed to be successful. But some good news would be appreciated -

I just came from a support group. I want the bypass but I have scar tissue and mesh in my abdominal area so I HAVE to get the sleeve. At the meeting I heard a lot of negatives about the sleeve and I'm really depressed now. I need to hear some positive stuff about the sleeve. But I need honesty
