I'm so glad you had the guts to say this. I am at the same point as you and I go to support groups and others at the same point (6 month out) have lost twice my 30 pounds and it is frustrating. I know I am cheating (I have issues with chocolate withdrawl, Ha!) and haven't kept up with the exercise like I should, so I will keep trying to plug along. I figure its better than gaining 30 pounds in 6 months! Keep up the struggle, I'm there with you. Steady but sure.

Hi everyone, I had the band done 1/18/08 at Fariview Southdale. I have lost 32 but have started to plautau and need to get my exercie going. Glad to see there are others in MN joining the site. I went to a support group coffee meeting for the first time at Byerly's in Ample Grove a week ago. Both banders and RY. Great support and nice to meet others at difference points of their journey. I think they should check the band they put in also. Are they sure it was a 4cc and not a 10cc band. It seems strange that you are not feeling any restriction if it is more than half way filled. I have been platauing a bit also. It's frustratating. I have been trying to up my exercise and hopfully that will help. Good luck, Mari

How much did you have injected into your band and how much does it hold? I was told most people need 4-5 fills before they find their sweet spot. Mari

Hi, I was banded on 1/17/08 also. I had a fill of 2.5cc and still feel hungry but have been continuing to lose so I am staying here awhile. Thanks for the book title. I will definely order. Mari

I'm glad to hear you feel good and even a little hungry as I have read so many others that are feeling miserable with the larger amounts of fill. I had my lap band 1/17/08 and am getting my first fill on 2/28 and am hoping for 1 cc to let my body adjust. I keep thinking that losing 1-2 pounds a week gives your body a chance to adjust to all the changes. Losing too fast because you are not eating solids doesn't seem like a long term goal. Mari
