I'm having kind of the same problem. If I drink water in the morning no matter how small the sip I get light-headed and nausea. I also get the same thing late at night after drinking water.

  7. First day of liquid diet. Fell off the wagon a long time ago becuz I couldn't get to ONEderland. It deterred me from trying anymore to lose weight. I have gained 30 lbs back in the past few yrs and I have been lazy and not exercising. I have started back with the exercising with swimming and weight room. I love to swim and love pumping iron and it makes me feel better and happy but with not following the rules aint losing any weight. Forgot how hard it is to do a liquid diet. I already have the chills and now drinking hot tea to try and warm my body up. Maybe I need to eat some more cream of broccoli soup. lol So I am asking any of the other Bandsters if they have had the same issue as me and would like to be a band buddy to keep each other honest would really be appreciated. Wish me luck love and light Dolphin
  8. Hello everyone....been trying to get back on the lapband wagon and I need the list of the do's and don'ts of it. I know there is rules to live by and I have forgotten most of them. I have been swimming and working out in the gym....but I am not making any progress in the losing weight category...so I need the list to refresh my brain of the rules. I have been banded since 2008. Please help me! Been searching online and I haven't found the list yet of the rules. love and light, dolphin

what's the longest with the band

coming up on my 8th yr and still havent gotten to my goal weight....had a large mass on my thyroid and it seemed to halt my success. I stopped following the rules, ane that is my fault. Started back to the gym and then got severe bronchitis just recently. So havent been back to the gym and the pool for about two wks now. Just got my unjury order and chewable Vitamins and the vitamins kind of weird taste but they help. Getting ready to start a liquid diet to kick start the process again to lose this fat everywhere. Have any of you tried the new skinny pill the garcina cambodia stuff and the colon cleanse and wondering if anyone has had success with it to help get rid of the belly fat. love and light .....prayers for success for everyone on here
  14. I will admit that I have fell off the wagon....I can't believe I have had my band since 2008 and I haven't lost all my weight. Life has gotten in the way and so has depression....I will admit I stopped doing the lap band rules of eating etc....I need lots of support to get back on the band wagon...I had two miscarriages in one year last yr...so I just stopped following everything. But I seem to be doing okay emotionally...less stress in my life, and I want to lose this weight...I didnt go through all this to not succeed in losing all this fat off my body. I want to start jogging and working out at the gym...I did a liquid diet then I went on vacation and didn't do the lapband rules again....I just have no support in my household....My husband is overseas and I figure this is the best time to get back on the wagon to keep me busy. So any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for reading my post Thin Dolphin
  15. I am having a very difficult time, I have yet to get below that 200 mark....I have issues of when I am stressed I throw everything up, when I travel to the rockies I cant eat for days becuz I am all swelled up. I haven't had a fill in over a year, cookies and other crap go down just fine, but I can't keep down ribs, pork chops, pork roast, hamburger, etc.. I am trying to find a support bandster buddy that we can keep each other on track daily. Like challenge each other daily to drink 8 glasses of water, how many laps in the pool did we do that day, how many miles on elliptical, how much free weights did you do that day etc. Anyone interested??????????????? Pretty please..I am so tired of being fat, but its hard to find support around here.

  20. Well not losing weight and have gone thru 2 miscarriages in the last 6 months. Not doing well at all and definitely not losing weight

  21. K I will first off by sayin hi all my friends. I've missed being on here. I have had a busy summer going to visit family in PA and then going to Colorado and Utah. With all the altitude changes I could barely eat all summer, but yet I havent lost any weight. I have been home for a while and still no change in my weight loss. :frown: I wasnt able to go to the gym most of the summer so I know that is part of it. I have started back going to the gym, but I am finding it hard to get motivated when I am not losing weight. I am so close to ONEderland it's not funny. I've been 206 lbs for like 3 to 4 months. Now I know that some of this is my fault becuz of not exercising. I've been eating right lots of veggies since I stopped traveling and put myself on a liquid diet. I also am starting school on tuesday and daughter is ticking me off with being so lazy and actually getting pissed at me becuz I cant eat a whole lot. I've explained how the band works several times and she still doesnt get it and she is 14. :tt2: LMAO Also have stress with just receiving a summons yesterday about the state wanting a crap load of child support while my son is incarcerated by COURT ORDER. So now I have to fight SRS, school, trying to lose weight and keep my sanity. How am I suppose to handle all this and not let the stress get to me where the weight wont come off? How do I get the motivation to exercise everyday like I want to and find the energy also. I feel like such a failure. I've been banded for over a yr now and I have ONLY LOST 50 SOMETHING LBS.:tt2::eek: love and light to all of my may bandsters. I miss all of you and I will be coming to this site on a regular basis in between all the other stuff I have to do. blessings to all dolphin:wub:

Weigh in... how much have u lost?

well I havent been to see my doc in a little over a yr and I cant seem to get down passed 200 lbs. I just cant break that plane!! Been eating good..but when monthly shows up I get pretty tight..but I do feel like I need to get more put in. Right now I am on 8cc's so I think a little fill should help me out some. :wink2: I'm hopeful. I went off the path for awhile but I want to get back on the band wagon. cheers miss ya'll
  23. Well I am going on 8 months of having the lap band and I'm not getting anywhere. My huge flippin stomach wont go anywhere. I started back to exercising this week after not exercising for 2 months and I've gaind 3 lbs:angry:...WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME. I thought working out you were suppose to lose weight NOT GAIN IT BACK. I havent had a fill since Nov 4th and I have 7 cc's in me so far. I can eat almost anything after the band loosens in the morning. I have fallen of the damn wagon and I dont know how to get back on it. I guess I keep eating slider foods, i dont know. I'm trying to be good, but I crave cereal late at night and I eat salad and I am able to get down a WHOLE BOWL :scared2:of salad with all kinds of veggies, cheese, bacon bits etc. I should NOT be able to eat a whole damn bowl of salad. What the hell is wrong with me???:cool2: I dont have any diet plan laid out, I just try to watch what I eat and nothing seems to work. I dont get hungry at times I should be and I get hungry at times I shouldnt be getting hungry like at 8 or 9 pm while watching dvd's or reading. :grouphug: I'm at the end of my rope and I'm seriously thinking that this lap band was the wrong way to go..because I have so many things working AGAINST ME IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY...I have PCOS, INSULIN RESISTANCE and I'm FAT! I workout 4 times a week and I'm starting to think that if my body is gonna be stubborn then maybe I should be too and exercise for hrs EVERY DAY..but wont I be risking gaining muscle weight and not really losing any weight? I'm so confused and pissed off!! HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP PLEASE!!!! LOVE DOLPHIN:wub:

    I'm a failure...PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Well thank you all for your advice. I am so close to Onederland I can taste it. I have been floating between 206 and 210 for months. I've been sick and busy with going to school and not having the energy to go exercise...I just want to get the motivation I had back before the surgery. I think today is gonna the start of it. I threw up last nite right before I went to bed and now this morning I am so swollen I have to SIP coffee and water or else it really hurts. I called my doc and she said that my band didnt slip it's just really swollen and suggested me coming in for a little unfill if it doesnt stop hurting. She also said that it wouldnt hurt me if I only did liquids for a few days. So hopefully this is gonna be the turning point to get my motivation back and start the weight loss again. So any advice u could offer would be greatly appreciated. blessings to all dolphin
