My name is Lynn I am one week Post-Op.  I chose the Surgery for a number of reasons, some of which are being diagnosed with Degenerative Osteoarthritis in both of my hips, pre-diabetes, just to name a few.  Also concerned about blood loss and after researching this seemed to be the best for me. As far as good parts I am still waiting for that, not that everything is bad, it is just that I am taking it day to day. I have been in a lot of pain for the first few days, I went to see my Surgeon yesterday and I am doing ok, just not sure of everything as of yet, not feeling like my self yet, which is probably a good thing, since my usual self would be stuffing everything down my mouth.  I am hoping to benefit from BariatricPal, by meeting other people who have gone through the surgery and sharing our journeys.
